Voicemail and OSX 10.4 Intel
Hello;
I have a problem with voicemail and my asterisk 1.2.1 on a OS X Mac
Pro intel box.
When I try to record a message from an incoming call or a greeting
message from internal phone using voicemail, It's like something is
not doing well. I can heard anything, only a distorsion sound that is
equal to lenght of the message left.
First I thoug that could be something with format=gsm|wav.

Short block test
Frank Klemm made the clip to test short block switching -
it's made of series of short periodical 'pulses', and this period
gets smaller as time passes.
You can get this file at:
http://www.uni-jena.de/~pfk/Short_Block_Test.wav.gz.gz (1.6MB)
(uncompress it twice with gzip)
I used oggenc beta3 & mp+ 1.7.8
Oggenc gave 160kbps using mode -b 256
mp+ gave 350kbps (using

Panasonic x Asterisk if I can emulate Panasonic fast!
...please:
* Dialing from inside (pap2-FXS connected phone) to another number on
the same city (goes out by SPA3102 FXO), voice works fine. But when a
menu answers, and I dial over, the menu dialed keys works only 20% of
all times. Why could this would be? Voltage levels? sound gains? Dialed
keys get distorsioned when passing over the 2 Linksys? Linksys or
Asterisk swallowing some dialed key? I noticed some echo...

charged to the office, another for international calls charged to the

listening conditions
Hi!
What are the assumed listening conditions in vorbis ?
For example there are big differences in perceived sound
when listening with headphones compared to listening with
speakers. ( "super stereo effect" , different frequency
response due to HRTF etc ... ).
Is this stuff worth considering in a vorbis class encoder ?

No sound when bridging two single FXO cards
Wow ! No reply... May be I must talk about X100P instead of X101P ?
Is someone has yet encountered this kind of "no sound" problem when bridging
two FXO lines like this (first as input, second as output) ?
Any idea ?
TIA.
Best Regards,
Francois BERGERET,
France.

Plots with k-means
Hi,
I'm doing a k-means cluster with 6 clusters and 15 variables. Any
suggestions on how to plot the results?
I've tried the standard xy plot, but couldn't get much of it.
Thansk in advance,
Iuri.
