Need help with spec file for Apache-2.4.7
I am trying to build an RPM for Apache-2.4.7-1 on Centos-6.5-i86_64. I am using mock. The are three build dependencies that I am trying to resolve. One, mod_socache_dc / distcache, I have simply removed from the spec file. The other two are arp and apr-utils. Since httpd-2.4.7 needs arp >= 1.4 I got the two latter requirements from http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/httpd-2.4.7-deps.tar.bz2 and extracted them into rpmbuild/SOURCES/httpd-2.4.7/srclib intending to use the...

Best way to add/update an installation
In an effort to prevent getting many minutes into an installation only to have a CD read fail (I did verify the CD's first), I did a minimal install. Can I use the minimal install to add the necessay packages for a HTTP server and graphical interface? Todd -- Ariste Software 200 D Street Ext Petaluma, CA 94952 (707) 773-4523

[slightly offtopic] A small, fast Apache2.2 (if there is such a thing)
Hi. I''m using Apache2.2 built from source + mod-proxy + ssl + svn. Everything works fine but I''m sure you I could disable a ton of modules during the build process and in httpd.conf to speed things up and run a tighter memory footprint. Has anyone bothered building Apache2.2 from source disabling all the unneeded modules. I am planning on going through the Apache docs but I

Stability of Rails
I''ve seen a lot of issue regarding the stability of Rails apps. I''m charged with investigation of Rails for my company and I''ve looked at numerous fourms, groups, etc. (Textdrive, here, etc.) and it *seems* like there is a stability problem with Rails (ie: crashes, etc.) Is this as common as it looks, or is this tied to things like Lighttpd (web server) or Typo

Here is the output from yum -y upgrade without the error parts... Its odd because it updated all of these first time round. I have dared reboot the box yet, for fear it won't come back up...
