WINS question
Hi.
Our network is splitted into two dislocated LANs interconnected by VPN.
One LAN is MS based (Win2000 server AD / Mixed Mode), the other one is
Linux based (FC4 + Samba 3.0.10).
Each LAN has its own domain with own WINS server. I established the trust
between them successfully. Now I would like to set up browsing ??? mainly

[LLVMdev] build on windows
Quang, you need to set Configure to Utility type. For some reason it
gets messed up in the conversion process to VS2008. Go to Configure
properties / General and put Utility in Configuration Type. It helped on me.
Also some h/cpp files might be dislocated, at least I needed to relocate
AsmParser files...
Then it should work just fine except some projects recompile excessively
for unknonwn reason if errors appear in other projects (like if you're
messing around with Fibonacci sources...)
Hope this helps.

Strange behavior in X, esp. VMWare Windows
...pps on the right screen,
including seamonkey and Windows under VMWare workstation, and since
the new configuration came in, the mouse cursor is not where it should
be. Items light up when I run the mouse over them, but a little below
and to the right of the tip of the pointer. It is only a slight
dislocation, but significantly worse in the Windows on VMWare, and it
is really annoying when I have to mis-aim the cursor to hit certain
selections (check boxes, bullets, etc.).
Can anyone explain this? Here's my xorg.conf:

[Bug 57988] New: [regression][bisected][NV4E] LVDS output has offset to the right, part falling of is painted on the left

Dmesg of regression: 3.7-rc8+nouveau(implement opcode 0xa9)
Commit:
767baf828498: drm/nouveau: remove some more unnecessary legacy bios code
causes a regression. Attached are dmesg logs and photographs (since the title
probably won't cut it).
Symptoms are:
- screen is dislocated to the right causing part of the screen to fall off
- the part that falls of the screen is improperly repainted on the left side,
seems like a mirror effect in that this repainting is happening twice
- upper part of the screen has a horizontal bar that is probably 1 or 2 pixels
thick. Desktop i...
