IAX2 - providers discontinuing support
What is wrong with IAX2 protocol?
If IAX2 is so much better than SIP so why providers discontinuing support for IAX2
I was with provider "callwithus" but they discontinue IAX2
I switched to "checkbox.cc" but they discontinued it as well.
What is wrong with IAX2?

Will Digium iaxy stop working with asterisk 1.6; as it is discontinued?
Digium has discontinued their ATA iaxy adapter; don't blame them, too expensive so they can not compete.
The adapter is upgraded automaticaly when it is connected to new asterisk version; since this adapter is discontinued will it still work with asterisk 1.6
and beyond or will it be\ just a "door stopper"?

Setup of discontinuous stream demux
I am putting together an ogg mux/demux application
which uses two logical streams. One is a vorbis stream,
the other is some application specific data.
This came together really quickly, following the ogg/vorbis
documentation it took only a few hours to get it up and running.
Just a small question...
My application stream is currently running as a continuous stream
but really I want it to be

Have the Dovecot Enterprise Edition packages been discontinued?
Hi,
I've been using the Dovecot EE packages for Ubuntu for some time now and
just recently started getting 404 errors. Have those packages been
discontinued or is this just a temporary issue?
Thanks.

qt(p,df) discontinuous in p for df in 1.01->1.7 (PR#2991)
...tribution is symmetrical around 0 qt(0.5,df) should return 0 for any
df.
However for df close to 1 it seems to have problems as seen by:
qt(0.5,seq(1,1.1,by=0.0001))
For example:
> qt(0.5,1.01)
[1] -0.2300470
Higher df as df=1.1 (and up to approx df=1.7) seem to have problems as it also
gives discontinuities (the plural form!):
plot(seq(0.1,0.9,by=0.001),qt(seq(0.1,0.9,by=0.001),1.1),pch=".")
When df is close to 1 it appears as one discontinuity at p=0.5, and as df
increases there are two discountinuities symmetrical around 0.5 and moving away
from 0.5.
Keep up your outstanding work on R ;-...

Plots with discontinuity balls
Dear All,
Can R plot graphs like the one at
http://www.mathwords.com/f/f_assets/floor_graph.gif
with the balls at the discontinuity points?
Thanks in advance,

Discontinuous stream support in libogg1
Hello,
I recently added discontinuous stream support to libogg1. The patch is
attached.
I also wrote Writ codec for libogg1 (based on original code by Arc), and
sample Writ encoder (SubRip to Writ converter) and decoder.
Is anybody interested?
WBR,
Roman.

Discontinuous graph
Hi,
I wanted to make a graph with the following table (2 rows, 3 columns):
a b c
x 1 3 5
y 5 8 6
The first column represents the start cordinate, and the second column contains the end cordinate for the x-axis. The third column contains the y-axis co-ordinate. For example, the first row in the matrix above represents the points (1,5),(2,5), (3,5). How would I go about making a discontinuous graph

Soundpoint IP 430 -- discontinued.
Hey, all. I'm in the middle of a rollout, and just learned that the
SoundPoint IP 430 -- my favorite mid-range phone -- has been discontinued.
The heir apparent is the SoundPoint IP 450 -- for a low, low, low $130
more/handset. AND it doesn't look as nice.
Ouch.
Does anyone have any recommendations -- Polycom or otherwise -- for a
good-quality, mid-range, two-line SIP phone (with good

Discontinuities in a simple graph (machine precision?)
...integrate(integrand, a, Inf)
inted[[1]]/((1- pnorm(a))*sqrt((1 + a*l - l^2)))
}
I wanted to quickly produce a graph of this over the range [-3,3] so I
used:
plotit <-function(x=seq(-3,3,0.01),...){
y<-sapply(x,mdevstdev)
plot(x,y,...)
}
> plotit()
This produces the graph, but some discontinuities appear on it. I've
produced the same graph in Mathematica 5
(http://econserv2.bess.tcd.ie/cullens/R/DOverDelta.eps), and it was smooth
over this range (it takes ages to run, though). Is this a numerical
precision problem? Any suggestions on how to improve the precision?
I'm running...

smbmount discontinued?
In a past thread I've notice that smbmount (and mount's suport for
it) will be discontinued and smbclient should be used insted.
Sorry if the question is too lame but I use it in some of my systems
now and I think I'll have trouble porting then to smbclient.
Is smbmount been removed because it relays on kernel smb support?
Samba will not need smb support in kernel in the

Is it possible to create color ramp legend in spplot for discontinuous data ?
Hello All,
I have a discontinuous dataset and I used spplot to plot the points.
I was wondering whether it is possible to show the legend of the plot as
color ramp. I saw that on continuous data. If anyone could tell me that
would be great.
Another thing I would like to know is how can we create the horizontal
legend. By default, the legend is vertical.
I was able to shift the legend inside

Binary_Packages/Debian
Dear users,
I have uploaded the new 3.0.25a packages compiled for sarge.
At the same time I have removed older 2.2.x and 3.0.x packages for
Woody.
Support for back porting packages to Woody was already discontinued, but
older packages were still provided. As these packages were not updated
after the recent security issues, I decided to remove them to avoid
pushing people to use outdated and

nls and discontinuous functions
Folks; I have looked for this subject extensively using all the resources I have available and could not find a solution; therefore I am sending you this email seeking for help. I need to solve a discontinuous nonlinear function, but R 2.6 keeps giving me an error. Below is a simple example:
f <- function (t,k,l,u) { r0<-346.1 x<-t-l if (x<0) r0 else (r0-u)*exp(-k*x)+u

alternate compression
...es, it would end up worse.
This surprises me. Have you tried aligning your frames to the
standard FLAC frame size?
As for the pool, it seems like the first occurrence of a repetition
would compress like usual, and the subsequent ones would compress
more than usual.

Microsoft Response Point Voip server discontinued
Interesting announcement today;
http://www.crn.com.au/News/174872,microsoft-response-point-voip-gets-a-d
irt-nap.aspx
Microsoft this week revealed its intention to discontinue its Response
Point, its small business VoIP system for companies with up to 50
employees.
While not unexpected, the move is significant because Response Point was
once a promising product in which Microsoft
