Hi Folks, I'm using CentOS 4.3 on my Desktop-Computer. I've been switched from Suse: I'm using for Internet-Connection DSL (Germany). It will be started at boottime. But how can I connect/disconnet this connection without using a GUI during the Computer is runnig . Is there a command(-line-tool)? On Suse there was a program called "cinternet" that fits for this task. An other question: I've running a server in a small Network with Suse 9.0. I want to switch this server to Ce...

I get regular messsages in /var/log/maillog Feb 2 19:32:57 mail dovecot: IMAP(user at example.com): Disconnected: Logged out bytes=189/472 Feb 2 19:32:57 mail dovecot: IMAP(user at example.com: Disconnected: Logged out bytes=207/1832 Two things: 1) I don't really care to log the user disconneted by logging out at all, how can I stop that 2) why do they show up twice? A Major Problem!
...interface) disconnects the line, Asterisk does not detects the disconnection, other party can hear the 'engage like tone' coming from the other side. This continues till the other party(probalby the sip phone or the station interface phone) hangs up. If the fxo user was in a conference if he disconnets the line, other confencees can here the 'engage like tone' , this is very disturbing. The biggest problem is, the fxo line remains busy, till the sip/station phone user disconnects the line. Can anybody give us a solution for this. In the near future, we are going to add some E1 lines too...

Predictive call - agent talking to a customer, then suddenly talking to another customer
...ply cut off instantly the moment this happens. This happens randomly. I have yet to collect log output and capture the CLI, etc. but anybody ever heard of this happening? It is as if agent channels get randomly reassigned / lose their audio channel from outside the Asterisk - one channel is disconneted that a customer was on and certain agents are suddenly talking to someone else and lose the original caller they were busy with. Where can I even being to look? Thx! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://lists.digium.com/pipermail...

smbstatus - switched off computers are sometimes showed
I have a Samba server configured as PDC for ~100 computers. It's version 3.0.24 running on Debian Etch (distribution package). I want to write a tool for user logon/logoff tracking. Because parsing log files is hard job (windows frequently disconnets or connects during user session or etc.) I decide to use smbstatus output which seem to be reliable. So I run smbstatus binary every 10 seconds, parse the output and all is fine. But sometimes in the smbstatus output is show computer which is several hours switched off. At the next run (after...
