Is it a way to upgrade CentOS 7 to 8?
Hi, I?m looking for a method to upgrade my centos 7 servers to 8 and I don?t find anything to do that! I?m a very newbie with CentOS? My choices where gone to Debian or Ubuntu and it was very simple. Just some files must be changed (/etc/apt/source.list). My search suggest a RELH subscription. Is it the only way? Best regards -- Pierre Malard ?La France n'est pas schismatique, elle est

Is it a way to upgrade CentOS 7 to 8?
...of course). On another note, if you do not have a pressing need to upgrade CentOS to 8, I would argue you can stay on 7 for next 3-5 years, or maybe upgrade one at the time. Many packages like php can be upgraded on CentOS 7. If you tell us why you NEED to upgrade your servers to 8, maybe we can dirrect you to solution like Software collection or IUS repository. > Best regards > > -- > Pierre Malard > > ?La France n'est pas schismatique, elle est r?volutionnaire? > Jean Jaures - 1905 >...

Is local originated traffic affected?
Hi! I built some rules to shape traffic from my linux router in both dirrections: to the Internet and to the LAN. When i apply the rules my computer cannot acces the Internet or the LAN. Is this behavior normal? Do I need to write some rules for local IPs of my router? (I have sevaral, both on the internal and the external NICs.) Thank you for any advice! Sorin.

[LLVMdev] Proposal: MCLinker - an LLVM integrated linker
...m/p/mclinker/ > > Tested platform: Currently, only Linux, Mac OS X 10.7, and FreeBSD 9.0 are tested. However, we think you won't run into to any problem on modern UN*X machines. Hello, I'm glad to see other people are interested in building an LLVM linker. I have been working in the dirrection of an LLVM linker for some time now. The first key component of this is the libObject library in tree. See my talk from the November 2010 Dev Meeting called "Object Files in LLVM" <http://www.llvm.org/devmtg/2010-11/>. We are currently seeking to remove the inherent duplication...

[LLVMdev] Proposal: MCLinker - an LLVM integrated linker
Hi all, We are developing a linker, MCLinker. MCLinker is a linker for LLVM. It leverages the LLVM machine code (MC) layer to link object files and bitcodes, and generate shared objects and executable files. Motivation ---------- The development of MCLinker was started out of the need for an LLVM integrated linker. LLVM lacks an integrated linker; hence, it relies on external linkers to
