if I could resolve _why_ some Win systems have _two_ Oteima workgoups (one
to which I can connect to _all_ listed systems and one to which I cannot
connect to any) I could resolve this dilemna.
I've tried: changing workgroup name (all lowercase, all uppercase, mixed
upper/lower case); encrypt passwds yes/no. Changing protocol mins and
maxs (from CORE to NT1). I'm running out of ideas.
Any and all suggestions welcome.

I have 2 SCSI disks each w/a RH 7.3 ext3 root filesystem: /dev/sdb1, and /dev/sdc1.
/dev/sda1 is an old RH4.2 root filesystem. (sdb1 was created as an image of sdc1
using dd.)
I have no problem booting from a SYSLINUX 1.52 floppy with SYSLINUX.CFG
containing "append initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/sdb1".
When I alter SYSLINUX.CFG with:
"append initrd=initrd.img root=/dev/sdc1".

CDR Desgin
I've taken the liberty of starting a new thread to discuss the design
of the Asterisk CDR mechanism. The discussion has been kindly
initiated by murf putting together a proposal:
http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/murf/RFCs.
After reading the proposal I still don't think it's the right way to
go. To my mind adding more channel variables increases the complexity
in a situation
