I used to run many VMs on my Ubuntu 10.04 box. However, after upgrading to Ubuntu 12.10 (and thus, libvirt 0.9.13), The VMs can't be recognized anymore. Nothing appears in the output of 'virsh list --all', nor in virt-manager. Config: Solaris 8, OpenLDAP winbind backend, using AD for global users. Is there documentation on what service_name / module_type pairs are supported by pam_winbind? I've gone through the Samba-3 HOWTO book and internet searches, but haven't found anything difinitive. I have been able to tell through experimentation that winbind doesn't work with "rsh auth", giving a "Protocol Error" when attempted.

I have a single storage server which exports /data to number of clients. Is it ok to access the data on the storage server directly (ie not via glusterfs mount) ? (I know this causes problems when there are multiple servers ). This would simplify some configurations. Nick

I am running C7 host and pulse audio. I have a Win 10 guest with ICH9 audio. It works - but I hear artifacts. Anything to do to help audio be flawless under guest VM ?
