Directory-like data organisation w/ environments?
Dear r-users! I wonder if there is a way of designing a directory like structure for holding my data using environments? It would be nice if I could implement a kind of 'cd' command to change to a differend environment etc. Can anybody give me a hint? -cl -- Christoph Lange MPI fuer biologische Kybernetik |Phone: +49-7071-601-607| Postfach 2169, D-72012 Tuebingen |FAX:

master or client
Hello, Dovecot auth protocol 1.0 defines differend command sets for client and master. How can a daemon distinguish a master connection from a client connection? Clients do send CPID and master does not. I have following auth configuration: auth external { socket connect { master { path = /var/state/dovecot/login/master-auth } } } I try to learn my authentication daemon to

RECORDNUMBER
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi! I am going to encode almost 2000(!) CDs to OGG soon and I will use the tag RECORDNUMBER (as opposed to TRACKNUMBER) to indicate which record in a multi-cd-album it is. Maybe I'll also use the tag RECORDNAME if the record also has a name (eg Nine Inch Nails/Fragile's records are called Left and Right). Please make this tag (at least

Cannot ping DomU from Dom0 / cannot ping same site from two DomUs at the same time
Hello! I have two problems. One is, that I cannot ping a DomU from Dom0 (or any other host in my local network) and the second one is, that I cannot ping the same site (eg. www.suse.com) from two DomU''s at the same time. I have a fresh installation of openSuse 11.0 with Kernel 2.6.25.20-0.1-xen and my box has two physical ethernet cards. As far as I have investigated, eth0 is the one

Mixing dynamic and static content in routing
Hi all, I am working on a small project--a backend for a website with a tree like structure. I have a Node model which acts_as_tree and use polymorphic associations to "link" differend resources (a free form page, a course description and so on) to the nodes. In my routes.conf I have map.connect ''/homepage/*path_info'', :controller => "index",

As far as i understand, glmulti is able to devide the process into chuncks and proceed by parallel processing on on multiple cores. Unfortunately this does not seem to work and i could not really fid any advice on the matter on other forums. Specifically i
