Difference between E1 and PRI
Hi all,
I have seen the term E1 and PRI used interchangably when referring to
a voice service with 30B channels and 1 D channel. Are they just
different terms for the same thing or is there some technical
difference. Even Newton's telco dictonary seemed a bit fuzzy on this
topic. I have seen it said the PRi is a protocol that runs on top of
E1. Is this true?

dictonary attacks
Hi hoping someone can help me a little with this one.
I have 2 mail servers, the incoming mail server runs dovecot and the
outgoing mail server runs postfix with sasl.

SHA2 Issues
Hello all,
Thank you in advance for your help with this. I am trying to implement
the user authentication method from Ruby Recipes which calls for the use
of SHA 2. Here is the code for the password:
def password=(pass)
salt = [Array.new(6){rand(256).chr}.join].pack("m").chomp
self.password_salt, self.password_hash = salt,
Digest::SHA256.hexdigest(pass + salt)
end
