...logon and roaming profil is not needed and FTP can be logged, I'll use this. Another question for our brillants candidates : How to batch the creation of a Samba account ? I mean, everytime you create an account, a password is needed. I want the password to be generated randomly (not from a dictionnary but various lEttER/numbers mix) and then attributed to a user wihtout the root to enter it by hand and to press ENTER twice. I've tried to use the "<<" command in bash but it didn't help me. Any ideas ? directly modifying the smbusers file ? I'm not aware of the crypt...

ASR Suggestions for small dictionnary (<1000 entries) lookup in France/french
Hello, I'm in the early stages of designing an Emergency calling service IVR application. The IVR application asks simple one or two questions like "which is the postal code of the area you are currently calling from ?" "Is the correct ?". The expected values are a 5-digits number like "twenty-five-thousand-two-hundreds-twelve" or

RE: [R-gui] NEdit Highligth patterns for R
...1) It would be interesting to highlight in different colors functions and > arguments... but they can have same name. Example: plot(x, col=2) -argument > 'col' and col(x), function 'col'. For the moment, the only easy way I found > is to define argument followed by = in the dictionnary, like 'col=' for the > argument. However, space is allowed between 'col' and '=', and then the > argument is not correctly coloured. So, I add an automatic correction that > eliminates spaces before a single '=' sign. But now that '=' is also allowed...

Hello, I'm running a samba 3.0.14a server in production on a fedora core 3 (kernel 2.6.9-1.667smp) with a least 250 clients (XP Pro SP2) (up to 400 sometimes). A few days ago, a problem appeared with a soft that we are using for a long time. (Petit Robert, a french dictionnary). When someone launch the dictionnary, many clients are freezed when they try to access to the "start menu" (a part of the windows XP menus are stored on the samba server) In the logs, we found : Broken leases in the /var/log/messages : Jul 29 09:44:06 Karma kernel: lease broken - o...

Newer Matrix Factorization Techniques
...v list. I have looked at some archives of R libraries but cannot seem to see a project that focuses on the new matrix factorization techniques that are showing up in the literature. I have made a list of them: https://sites.google.com/site/igorcarron2/matrixfactorizations they include Robust PCA, Dictionnary Learning, Sparse PCA and are mostly implemented in Matlab. What is most interesting is that even though they share the same names with techniques already listed in some R libraries, they really are implementing very different algorithms that perform better. Here are is question: Is there a reposi...

Larousse Multilingue: stack overflow in exception handler ?
Hi all, I'm trying to run the Larousse Multilingue Dictionnary pack. I've tried to run it under wine 0.9.17 (from codeweaver), 0.9.25 (from debian testing) 0.9.28 (from debian unstable) and 0.9.29 (from source). My wine setting is functional since I can use an older Larousse dictionnary (Bibliorom), no problem at all for any of the versions above. I dow...

traffic normalizer for ipfw?
Hi there, Is there some way to configure ipfw to do traffic normalizing ("scrubbing", as in ipf for OpenBSD)? Is there any tool to do it for FreeBSD firewalling? I've heard that ipf was ported on current, anything else? TIA, /Dorin. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
