[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Hi Quentin,
I actually did a run with -mllvm -optimize-regalloc -mllvm
-regalloc=greedy over the weekend and the test does pass with that.
Haven't measured the compile time though.
Cheers,
Diana

Indeed.
@Quentin, what is the status of that patch? Have you been working on
it since then? Should I investigate the segfault more and send you a
reproducer...

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Turns out it really is a GlobalISel issue - we eat up too much stack
space because all the constants used in the switches are stored on the
stack. We need to fix this somehow before changing the default. I'll
try to give it a run with Quentin's r299283 on top to see if it helps.

Diana

Buildbots timing out on full builds
Great! I expect I'll be able to cut it down further once I start fusing these smaller state-machines together. Before that, I'll re-order the patches that went into that diff so that I don't have to re-commit the regression before fixing it.

Hi Diana and Vitaly,
Could you give https://reviews.llvm.org/differential/diff/100829/ <https://reviews.llvm.org/differential/diff/100829/> a try? When measuring the compile of AArch64InstructionSelector.cpp.o with asan enabled and running under instruments's Allocation profiler, my machine repor...

...t we're hitting compile-time problems when we can only import 25% of the rules. That said, I have a couple more nearly-finished patches I'd like to get in before we introduce the state machine. Hopefully, the above tricks will be enough to save me a re-write.

Cool test :)
It seems to work fine now, I don't see any new failures. IIUC, Kristof is
also giving it another run.

LLVM social in Sweden?
...u can't make it, please say so and we can try to do this in
April instead, so we can have more time to plan.
I'm thinking of leaving this up for a week or so before deciding
something, but if you need to know sooner please say so.
Also, any suggestions for venues are appreciated!
Thanks,
Diana

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Hi,
I ran into a little snag on the test-suite:
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33021
It boils down to GlobalISel generating calls to fabs instead of using
FABSDr (so we get undefined references).

Diana

But I need a list containg all possible partitions of an index set

I have already looked at the FAQs but I did not found. Sorry.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks Diana.
That is indeed the assumption in the code and this is obviously wrong.
Could you try the attached patch?
(I haven’t even tried to compile it though)
