Long pause between menus
I have set up an auto attendant and all is working but I am bothered by
a long pause when switching between menus. This pause is between 5 and
7 seconds and is quite annoying.
Is there anyway to address this.
One other thing I find interesting is that when I move from the main
menu to the sub menu the delay is there but when I move from the sub
menu to the main menu the delay is not there.

No CallerID Transfer Problem
...erid=no" and all would be well, but this
didn't do any good. After playing a bit longer I just set the
following:

        exten => 900,2,set(CALLERID(num)="606-555-1212")
        exten => 900,3,set(CALLERID(name)="Outside Call")
        exten =>
900,4,Dial(${DIALEXTENSIONS},${RINGTIMER},${DIAL_OPTIONS})
Now all works well.

So is there another option somewhere to keep asterisk from killing a
transfer without callerid? This happened on both 1.4.17 & 1.4.18.1.

Thanks,
Ken

Struggling with ISDN4Linux and Asterisk config
The card is an ASUSCOM ISDNLink PCI (passive) and the circuit is from
Qwest (in the US). I will be using this circuit only for voice (I'm
doing this because of the poor quality of my POTS lines).
I've compiled Hisax (as a module) into my 2.4.25 kernel, and with
'modprobe hisax type=35 protocol=4 id=hisax' I get the following:

SIP configuration issues
Apologies if this is a repeat: I trawled through the archives and couldn't
find a reasonable answer, so I'm asking here. I have an Asterisk install
connecting from behind a NAT device (DSL modem) to a SIP proxy (in my case,
Broadvoice). I have an sjphone softphone on a Windows PC also behind the NAT
device that connects to the Asterisk install, and using this setup I've been
pretty
