Choosing the right domain
...internal domain is: intra.our.tld Frankly speaking I am already lost, if I should choose the right AD DC domain: [ ] addc.intra.our.tld and use the exsisting bind as a forwarder for the new bind on the AD DC or better use: [ ] addc.our.tld ... and one second question (sorry): What about the dhpcd? At present we use fixed MAC:IP:Name matches and the DHCP writes corresponding DNS records into bind. I am afraid we can't use such setup anymore, too, can we? order, managing one file and refreshonly
...; directives - but how to use them on whole modules? And that''s not always good think - to hardcode order into modules... Any ideas? - second are variables. For each network I define a lot of them. Ie.: $lan_subnet_ip, or $lan_subnet_range etc. I use them in modules ie. to generate dhpcd.conf file. But I can use them only after I defined them - ie. I cannot use those variables in puppet module, because puppet gives me "Could not find value for ''variable''" error. I''m doing something wrong, or is that just way puppet works? Other ideas? My...

Cisco 7960 SIP V6 and IBM A30P Fedora Asterisk
Hi All Total noob on the list so all help appreciated.... I've successfully installed Asterisk on an IBM A30P Thinkpad using fedora Core 2 (I'm looking at having a mobile PBX for conferences and shows). I've plugged in two Cisco 7960 phones.... The phones register with the Asterisk correctly and I can run the demo's and even the AIX demo through to digium works correctly.......
