issue: <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=766338>
However, removing kexec-tools in this case did not solve the problem.
Nor does "systemctl poweroff" work.
Does anyone else see this? No, nothing is filed in bugzilla yet.

syslinux.com: sector read error
...t;lock C:" and press "Y" (why is this necessary?)
(5) Boot drive and run "syslinux c:"
(6) Get "sector read error"
I am using qemu 0.9.0. This works with disks having different
geometries.
If it's easier you can download the disk ready to boot at http://

CentOS 7 /boot location
I noticed that (in a case with a two disk md mirror and lvm), the
CentOS 7 installer is now placing /boot as the *last* partition on
the disk.
I'm assuming that others are seeing this behavior. Does anyone
know why it's now the last instead of the first? (Seems to work,
though.)

REPOST: Changing from Mixed mode to pure Active Directory
...at
is currently running in Mixed mode with a domain name if "ABC" to a pure
Windows 2000 Active Directory network with a domain of "ABC.net". Do I need
to do anything other than change the domain controller name listed in the
password server property in the smb.conf?
Thanks!

RHEL 6.7 is released
...g from RHEL 6.6 to 6.7, I did find that I had to disable
my 3rd party repos (elrepo and epel) in order to avoid yum erroring
out. Plus I did the usual "yum clean all". (I don't use the PackageKit
GUI as it's been unable to complete for quite a few months without
dumping core.)

Independent dual monitors on CentOS 7
...from CentOS5 to CentOS7
and while the spanned desktop works, not having independent
monitors really cuts into my productivity. i.e.: I couldn't
care less about dragging things from one screen to another, but
not having a 3x3 virtual desktop grid on each monitor independently
really sucks.

I'm coming more and more to the conclusion that we should have a minimal Python in "base".

Please help with subclipse in radrails
I''ve been wrestling with this all night, I''m hoping someone can help. I
followed the exact steps in:
http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/HowtoUseRailsWithSubversion
..but when I open a new ''Checkout project from SVN'' in RadRails, it opens up
the second level dirs as the project dirs (ie. app, log, script, etc),
leaving me with a mess of projects.

mismatch_cnt after 5.3 -> 5.4 upgrade
...would be sufficient, however I was looking for comments on this
from anyone with experience or opinion on the matter. Googling the
issue doesn't seem to turn up any recent related results.
Also, could the upgrade have touched the bootblock on sda1 but not
sdb1 and thus trigger this problem?
