boot -s - can i detect intruder
Hi list Several people have physical access to my FreeBSD box and I have the feeling that somebody try to get access with boot -s options . Can I log activity after boot -s option (change user password, install software and etc.). I use boot -s and change user password, but after reboot i can't find this atcivity in log files. The BSD box is shutdown and run again many time at day. Best

Hi Rich, Thanks for the pointer. It looks like add_viostor_to_driver_database() is the routine that I need to mimic. I'll try that out in the morning. spandsp and app_rxfax (alternative topic: t38modem)
Dear gods of the PBX (flattery works here, right?) - I've been pulling my hair out trying to get Asterisk to receive and decode a fax using spandsp and app_rxfax. It seems like it should be working. The fax machine on the other end connects and Asterisk reports a fax coming in. But when it's done all I have is a 2 or 3 KB TIF (see attachment). The console activity looks completely

ext3 and kernel 2.4.10
Good morning, I try to use the last release of ext3 patch with a 2.4.10 linux kernel. I have two troubles : - when the kernel is booting, I receive : NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/SMP for Linux NET4.0. VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.
