pattern instead of colors in bargraph
Hi I am using R 2.2.0 under SuSE 10. I am creating a graph by using the following script: DietF <- read.csv ("DietFem.csv", header = TRUE, as.is=TRUE) attach (DietF) PP <- array(c(bud, flower, shoot, melon, seed.pod, detritus, other), c(16,7)) M <- paste (Month) detach (DietF) png(filename="DietF.png", width=960) barplot (t(PP), ylim=c(0,1), names.arg=M, space=0.3, ylab="proportion of diet") dev.off() The problem is that I would need the bars to be filled with pattern (striped, diagonal striped, d...

Anyone still have a Tripp-Lite 3004-protocol USB UPS?
I was cleaning up some digital detritus when I ran across an old SVN branch for the proprietary Tripp Lite 3004 USB protocol (the non-PDC variety). It looks very similar to the binary 3005 protocol, which has been added to NUT, but I'd like to have someone sanity-check things before we claim compatibility. Any volunteers? I'm n...

[SPAM] - Re: [SPAM] - Re: [SPAM] - Dahdi, b410p and looping from 1 port to another - Email found in subject -Email found in subject - Email found in subject
The DAHDI docs actually include the 'steps' that used to be in Zaptel's 'make b410p'. These steps involve downloading and compiling mISDN. Why re-invent the wheel? Just a thought :-). As for the 100ohm termination bit - it's simply changing a couple of dip switches on the b410p card (as described in the manual). Andy -----Original Message----- From:

Crazy thought about upgrading to new major release
I have older systems out there that work fine, just for what ever reason would be great to upgrade from a C5 -> C7 (due to no longer supported) or C6 > C7 (for updated packages). Sounds like the upgrade tool is not quite an option... I was thinking... What would be wrong with any "easy" script that did the following: 1) Removed all packages with the --justdb option. 2) Import

make uninstall can delete xen-kernels
Nice time. # make uninstall ... rm -rf //boot/*xen* ... if somebody use "xen" in kernel name (maybe as suffix), so it will be deleted from /boot/ too. Thanks. Denis.

Trimming the fat out of a Centos 4.4 Installation
Hi, just to avoid re-inventing the wheel, is there any document that can help me reduce even further a "minimum" installation of Centos 4.4 (BTW can you say 600mb is minimum)? I am in the process of creating a small Centos-4.4-based Asterisk box and I need to boot it from a CF card. Deleting useless packages will help me do what i want.
