Hi all, I have investigated the compile-time overhead of "Polly Scop Detection" pass based on LNT testing results. This mail is to share some results I have found. (1) Analysis of "SCOP Detection Pass" for PolyBench (Attached file PolyBench_SCoPs.log) Experimental results show that the "SCOP Detection pass" does not lead to significant extra compile-time

Channel Bank Help Please....
Hello - I have a Premisys Slimline Channel Bank connected to a Digium TE110P. I am not able to call the FXS extensions or get dialtone on them. The channel bank is connected via a T1 crossover to the cable and lights show green. I really need to get this functioning by end of day. If anyone can help me out I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks, Dave zaptel.conf loadzone =

Problem with PRI and Ericsson AXE 10
Hi everyone, I have a PRI conection on an * system running Asterisk 1.0.9, libpri 1.0.9 and zaptel 1.0.9.2 connected to an AXE 10 (APZ 21220 System 64) in the network side. I know the system and the wildcard I´m using are ok because I´ve used them before with other PRI connections (to a Siemens EWSD) without any problem. First the PRI didn´t work (I got the TE110P alarmed with red). After

Nvidia-detect error with on HP Z4 (CentOS 6.9)
Hi all, I'm testing an installation of nvidia drivers on a HP Z4 workstation (nvidia Quadro P600) with CentOS 6.9. Running nvidia-detect with this setup gives the following output: # nvidia-detect Error getting device_class nvidia-detect also quits with exit-code 255. Could this be a bug in nvidia-detect? Or is it an unsupported configuration? The following hardware is detected, it

--detect-renamed --detect-moved and -b
Hi, I played around with the combination of rsync --detect-renamed --detect-moved and -b. Given the following tree: src/dir/file dest/src/dir/file I renamed src/dir to src/dir2 and ran the following command: rsync -a --detect-renamed --detect-moved --delete -b --backup-dir=bak src dest ending up with: dest/bak/src/dir/file Is it supposed to do that? I was expecting it to detect the renamed

Diva Server, chan_capi and tone detection
Hi all, I have a Diva Server V-BRI-2 card, which support, as written in reference guide: Extended tone processing (human talker detection, generation and detection of country-specific tones) I would like to detect human speech and fax tone with asterisk. I think that the diva card transmit a DTMF code when detecting voice, but chan_capi doesn't receive this DTMF code. I verbose it

Too Few Fax Detections
OK, after my last message about fax detection, I feel a bit better informed and able to press forward. I started looking into this because I was getting lots of false positive fax detection errors in the logs with faxdetect=both set in chan_dahdi.conf. Anyhow, I do not currently use fax detection, and we have a dedicated Fax DID on our PRI, so setting faxdetect=no works fine. Having said that, I

Red alarms
Asterisk is getting red alarms on my T1, sometimes once or twice a day, but today it happened 5 times. Even once is too many. Every call in progress is dropped. Please help! What do I need to do? What can I try? I've googled and searched this list and can't find anything. Here's an example from the logs: Feb 7 13:37:54 WARNING[32451] chan_zap.c: Detected alarm on channel 6: Red

PRI problem
Hi guys, I've been trying to get my ISDN-10 line up for the past few days, but its been going up and down. I am using OpenVox D110P card on asterisk version 1.4.21. It seems to me like a cable problem. I tried using Ethernet straight cable (12, 45, 36, 78) and also a "straight" cable where the twisted pairs are on 12, 34, 56 and 78. The problem remains the same.

``You do not want to overbuild your security or you will interfere with the detection side, and detection is one of the single most important aspects of any security mechanism. For example, it makes little sense to set the schg flag (see chflags(1)) on every system binary because while this may temporarily protect the binaries, it prevents an attacker who has broken in from making an easily

Detecting empty office doc containing virus macro
We are receiving LOTS of emails that contain empty XLS or DOC documents with embedded virus macros. These are getting past SPAMASSASSIN, Clamav and Kaspersky. I'm trying to write a filter for EXIM to block these emails but I need to know a good, quick, command-line to detect an empty doc with a macro. Is there anything available that I can use?? I have managed to write a PERL script to
