Gee with nested desgin
Dear all, Is it possible to incorporate a nested design in GEE? I have measurements on trees that where measured in two years. The trees are nested in plots. Each plot contains 24 trees. The number of plots is 72. Hence we would expect 2 * 24 * 72 = 3456 data points. A few are missing, so we end up wih 3431 data points. This is what I have tried until now. #assuming independence between trees

CDR Desgin
I've taken the liberty of starting a new thread to discuss the design of the Asterisk CDR mechanism. The discussion has been kindly initiated by murf putting together a proposal: http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/murf/RFCs. After reading the proposal I still don't think it's the right way to go. To my mind adding more channel variables increases the complexity in a situation

if I just connect two similar port say both 10 gb of one switch to another = symmetric bridge with stp enabled on both bridge , stpstate of all four po= rts always remain forwarding. strange tickmarks placing in image
Hello, I've a problem aligning tickmarks to an image. I've created a correlation matrix for 84 datasets. I'm visualizing the matrix as an image with colour coding according to the correlation coefficient. The 84 datasets are distributed over three factors, but the desgin is unbalanced, so that the tickmarks and the lables for the axis must not evenly distributed. A regular grid via

Rails 3.1 jasmine testing
Anybody know what to put in the jasmine.yml to desginate where jasmine should look for the files? I am using jasmine-headless-webkit so I can write CoffeeScript (and run the tests in the cli), and my test work fine written in it, though when I put app/assets/javascripts/**/*.js.coffee in the jasmine.yml, I keep getting ReferenceErrors. -- You received this message because you are subscribed

WxWizard Error
Hey All, Looks like there''s a few bugs with the controls dealing with Wx::Wizard. I''ve gone through it a bit, and seems like there''s some errors beyond what I could fix. An example is: # wxWizard A wizard dialog Wx::define_keyword_ctors(''Wizard'') do wx_ctor_params :title => '''' wx_ctor_params :bitmap =>

Is this the "right way"?
The site I''m currently designing doesn''t have a db back end. So I''m using rails primarily for templating and some scripting. I approached this by creating a controller called ''main'' and various views like "index", "welcome", "about", etc. But then I''d get URL''s like www.mydomain.com/main/welcome when I

Exporting objects plotted with plot3d() - rgl package
Dear all, Can anybody tell me how to export a 3d figure made with the plot3d function? I'm careless about whether it's still interactive or not in another format, as long I can get it out of R. fixes for bugs in error handling in rsync-2.5.2; and updates for rsync3.txt
Rsync-2.5.2 does not gracefully report connection and transfer errors and always properly return with a non-zero exit code, despite many assurances to the contrary in the code and commit logs. It seems a kludge to handle a special case of lost connections to older servers was FAR too aggressive! With '-vvv' I also print the source of the exit_cleanup() call, and optionally with

RFC: Pass Execution Instrumentation interface
TL;DR ==== This RFC suggests an API to enable customizable instrumentation of pass execution. The intent is to have a common machinery to implement all the pass-execution-debugging features mentioned here. Prime target of the interface is the new pass manager. The overall approach and most of the implementation details should be equially applicable to the legacy one though. Background
