Which column in randomForest importances (for regression) is MSE and which IncNodePurity
...IncMSE and IncNodePurity However, when I look in ?randomForest, I am reading about importance as a component of my rf object: A matrix with nclass + 2 (for classification) or two (for regression) columns. For classification, the first nclass columns are the class-specific measures computed as mean descrease in accuracy. The nclass + 1st column is the mean descrease in accuracy over all classes. The last column is the mean decrease in Gini index. *For Regression, the first column is the mean decrease in accuracy and the second the mean decrease in MSE. If importance=FALSE, the last measure is still ret...

ariable Importance Measure in Package RandomForest
Hi, I've a question about the RandomForest package. The package allows the extraction of a variable importance measure. As far as I could see from the documentation, the computation is based on the Gini index. Do you know if this extraction can be also based on other criteria? In particular, I'm interested in the info gain criterion. Best regards, Chris --

Help: Sort components of a vector with indices tracked in R
Dear All, I would like to know how to sort a vector of numeric values such that we know the original index of each ordered component. Say, we have c <- c(1,4,3,2) csort <- sort(c,descreasing=FALSE) With a few components of c, we can manually find out: csort[1] = 1 = c[1], ie, the original index of csort[1] is 1, csort[2] =2 =c[4], ie, the original index of csort[2] is 4. When length(c) is

Authentication to Secondary Domain Controller initially fails when PDC is offline
...ba.domain.tld. 1 900 600 86400 3600 ... When yesterday the same request gave the following answer: ... samba.domain.tld. *1715* IN SOA DC1.samba.domain.tld. 62 900 600 86400 3600 ... So I ran several that same command and each the value displayed as second member (here 1715 or 3593) was descreased by the same amount of second as the time between my command launchs. It seems this shown TTL is declared TTL (or minttl) minus the amount of seconds since last renewal of this TTL. No idae why this behaviour. If someone knows, I would be pleased to learn :) Cheers, mathias 2015-11-20 8:44 GMT+...

I've tried to descrease the graphics to miniom, but still the problem, i've tried to put on MAXIUM the graphics, and i still having the same FPS. I think that wine isnt using my 8 dual core or my 6gb of ram... but really i dont know how to fix that. I've leaved windows and, i wish to play bf again... My aspects a...

Authentication to Secondary Domain Controller initially fails when PDC is offline
Ok, I see. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your effort! I must say that I can't actually believe that no one knows an answer to this problem. It must affect MANY people using Samba DCs. According to all the tests on the wiki, everything is working fine. Then I pull the plug on my first DC and no one can log on. And this time I waited far longer than the suggested "refresh
