[XCP] Console with PV kernels?
...this happens with both) to make this work right? A change in the domUs? We''re just using ''console=xvc0'' or ''console=hvc0'' as appropriate, and running a normal getty against the console device. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. backuppc problem
...age says there are no backups for any of my systems I'm backing up. To be sure, they are taking up disk space, but it's just not reporting it correctly to the admin web interface. I'm thinking I'm missing some package I need, but am not sure exactly what. Any ideas? Thanks. - Derrik

Sorry guys; I got a bit lost about Gene's request on this thread; usually a handle dump like # dh > handles.txt it's all we need to see the relationship between the NBP's device handle and the Service Binding handles. Did you get handles.txt? is it available for download somewhere? >>> Gene, after modifying some of Patrick's code I have been able to get the

Constructor code in MAC address does matter ?
I observed a strange networking behaviour of my Debian virtual host in function of the MAC address I use. It seems that when I use an existing constructor code, networking works without any problem, but is impossible in the other case... Ex. : - vif = [ ''mac=aa:00:00:00:00:55, bridge=xen-br0'' ] -> no problem - vif = [ ''mac=df:00:00:00:00:55,

Centos backup tools
Hi all! I'm building a raid box to use for backups, connectivity will be either USB3 or esata. Looking for suggestions on backup software I can use. I know there's rsync, which may be a good solution. I also find backupPC at epel, backintime also at epel, kbackup. DejaDup looks interesting, but none of the repos I'm set up to use shows it being available. some small details: I
