https://ctan.org/tex-archive/graphics/pstricks/contrib/pst-barcode/
Hi,
https://ctan.org/tex-archive/graphics/pstricks/contrib/pst-barcode/
says that pst-barcode is included in texlive.
I installed texlive, and it can?t find pst-barcode.sty. Is that a
bug in the packaging Centos does, or is texlive in Centos some
derelict version?

CentOS has whatever version is in RHEL.
sudo yum provides '*pst-barcode*'
That says it is not available though in CentOS Linux 7.

Wine 1.2 breaking VSTs, making unusable/glitchy. these plugins have been platinum for a long time :( now are almost useless
hi,
I posted about a week ago, when i had updated to wine1.2-rc6.
I had warned that i had seen regressions in wine. This applied to
Commercial VST instruments that i have been using in linux for about 2
years.
At first, when using Jack-audio-connection kit (after the upgrade) i
began to notice certain plugins were now causing Xruns, when they
started up.
this never used to happen. so i posted.

1024-bit RSA keys in danger of compromise
...tive. One
should keep in mind that the NRO regularly launches SIGINT satellites
costing close to $2B each. Would the NSA have built a device at less
than half the cost of one of their satellites to be able to decipher the
interception data obtained via many such satellites? The NSA would have
to be derelict of duty to not have done so.
Bernstein's machine, once built, will have power requirements in the MW
to operate, but in return will be able to break a 1024-bit RSA or DH key
in seconds to minutes. Even under the most optimistic estimates for
present-day PKI adoption, the inescapable conclusion...
