Hi, do you have a guide to configure a VNC Server in Centos, I've read
a guide that says
"Enable VNC as an xinetd service"

Apache default charset
Hi , i'm using centos spanish version 4.4, i have installed phpnuke
spanish , but i think that apache is showing a strange character ? ,
when phpnuke (and other php and html pages) shows the ñ or
á but in spanish way (? and ?), i would like to know if it is
possible changue configuration of apache to show this charactes to the
right way

DNS trouble (little, but i need some help)
HI , i have a DNS trouble , wish you could help me, maybe it's a bit
mistake of mine, but i don't know what could it be, i'm trying
to configure phpnuke, and i want the URL http://portal.misitio.cl
points to /var/www/nuke, that's ok with apache virtualhost, but in DNS
, i'm trying to do from anoother server
$host portal.misitio.cl
Host portal.misitio.cl not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

SSH on port 6010
hi evryone, the command
netstat -patn | grep LISTEN
shows the next line
tcp 0 0 ::1:6010 :::*
LISTEN 5195/1
and the command
ps ax|grep 5195
shows
5195 ? Ss 0:00 sshd: root at pts/1
i was thinking if this is normal when i connect to the server through
ssh, but in another server centos doesn't appear a similar line in the
netstat

Help with sendmail ( or Iptables ... or DNS)
Hi, i have a CentOS 4.4 running sendmail, with two network interfaces
(eth0 -> Internet , and eth1 Local Network), from the terminal (SSH) i
do
telnet 127.0.0.1 25
and it connects to sendmail (i think so), but
from another server (external, and so from the same SSH terminal) i
try to connect to the Internet IP
telnet 146.77.220.236 25
Trying 146.77.220.236...
telnet: connect to address
