Debian Wheezy Dovecot Replication no updates on message deposit

The problem I have is pretty much same as the one described in http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2013-January/087674.html: I have vmail user on both systems, setup with ssh public key logins with empty passphrase. Apparently, dsync happens only on periodic updates. If a message is deposited on one server, it will only propagate to the other once a while. Thanks, Milan. Bonus Code For PartyPoker that doesn't make you deposit money!
www.50forme.com, it's basically a big advertisement for Party Poker, but if you sign-up for partypoker.com using the bonus code that's on his site, he transfers you $50. I know you're thinking "why would anyone give me $50 for free" but here's how it works... for every person that signs up for PartyPoker using his bonus code (50forme) PartyPoker sends him $75, so he makes

GREETINGS
...he year 2001. When the pressure on white farmers started in Zimbabwe due to the support given to the war veterans by President Mugabe to invade farms and force out white farmers, my father for saw the danger ahead, he then closed his major bank accounts, and together, we went to Accra in Ghana to deposit the sum of $14.5 million (Fourten million, five hundred thousand USdollars), in a private security company, for safety. This money was deposited in a box in his personal assitance's name, Mr Cole Razak and all the deposit doccuments and the photograph of the content of the boxes at the points...

Initial connection after reboot is sluggish
We have an SCO server running samba with the config file below. It is in the domain and users connect to shares on it without any issues. The SCO server is rebooted nightly. The problem is that we have a box that has a mapped drive connection which automatically deposits attachment files to the rmomin share from Outlook (using CaSaveAtt) and it fails on placing its first attachment to the samba drive. What seems to happen is that this first file wakes up the os and reestablishes the samba connection and all subsequent file deposits happen without incident, unt...

blackmail attempt? Stable mailing list block?
...that should be rare in the BSD world... the mail appeared to come from a web mail server and the first link has the following lovely text: "If you would like a site be added or removed from BlarsBL, you may hire Blars at his normal consulting rates (currently $250/hour, 2 hour minimum, $1000 deposit due in advance for non-established customers) to investigate your evidence about the site. If it is found that the entry was a mistake, no charge will be made and the entire deposit will be refunded. Send Blars email from a non-listed account to verify current rates and arrange payment." writing an MDA, help me avoid corrupted indexes
...erience with procmail indicates that procmail is too ferocious for what simple work I need done, and too difficult to make work right in a virtual-user environment. So I've written my own little MDA with a few lines of shell that will take the mail from Postfix+SpamAssassin and ultimately deposit mails in the maildirs. So far so good, except that I keep seeing corrupt indexes... probably because I'm not touching the indexes at all with the MDA. My guess is that in order for the MDA to properly deal with maildir it needs to adjust the indexes after depositing new mail. Okay. So ca...

Hi Rowland, Initially I deposited the line towards the bottom but then it didn't work. The line wasn't getting enough attention so it decided to creep up a bit :) As suggested in the initial email, the box was a NT4 PDC which had the all the shares. The home drive pointed to /home/%U/samba. Looking at the logs, to me i...

questions on local customized R distribution CD
...es and a bit simplified installation instruction need to be developed. The main question is: 1) Is it OK to develop a customized CD-ROM distribution of R with pre-selected packages for high school? It will be distributed free, of course. Also, we plan to make it available from the chap web or deposit it to R-project, if requested. 2) If the customized distribution CD is OK, I also hope to get some technical help/advice from the core group members if any one is interested. Thank you very much in advance, Dongseok Choi, PhD The President of the Oregon Chapter of the ASA [[alternati...
