Problem with glm.nb estimation
Dear All,
I've been using already for a year glm.nb() from the MASS package.
But today, R gave me an error message when estimating one of my usual
models:
> depEsf.nb <- glm.nb(depE ~ manuf00E + corps00E + lngdp00E + lngdp00sqE +
> lnpop00E + indshE + scishE + mechshE + elecshE + chemshE + drugshE +

[LLVMdev] PassManager Woes
...ve been struggling with this for two days and hopefully someone
can help me out.
I have a set of passes, analysis passes A, B, C, D and transformation
passes E and F.
Pass C depends on pass A and pass D depends on pass B. Pass E depends
on C and D and does not preserve any analysis pass. Pass F depeds on
pass A and pass C. Pass F runs after pass E.
Graphically the dependency graph looks something like this:
A B
^ ^
/ | |
| C D
| ^ ^
| |\ |
| | \ |
\ | \ |
F E
The arrows represent direct use of analysis pass data. So even though C
is built upon information from...

CVS version build error
Hi ,
I am currently experiencing problems with DTMF detection. My sip-phone
using INFO to transfer DTMF, and I see that the version downloaded from
asterisk ftp ( 0.4.0) do not support the d= field.
I do a clean cvs from a W2K machine and see that in new chan_sip.c , this
field has been recognized.
But compiling under Linux give me following error. The error come from
generating the

[PATCH] Config: Change config to lookup dependencies by name
Conversion would fail if it was necessary to install a package, and multiple
architectures of that package were already installed. This was happening
specifically with device-mapper on RHEL 5 conversions.
Unfortunately the flat dependency list in the config file didn't really allow
this to be fixed. The best that could be done is to specify both i386 and x86_64
dependencies, but would mean

can't get rJava to install on Linux
Having difficulties getting rJava to install on my Debian Squeeze box.
Perused the R-help list and tried some things that have worked for
others but not for me. Below is the output of my attempted build, R
CMD javareconf -e, and sessionInfo(). Note I tried the R CMD
javareconf also as root, restarted R after each of these, all no help.

RHN support and capabilities
This patch series includes a repost of Milan's unmodified RHN support patch
because I haven't pushed it yet. On top of that patch, it includes the
capabilities patch in as many bits as I could make it into. The big one is 7/8.
I've tested all of the following guests both with and without RHN registration:
Xen RHEL 54 PV
Xen RHEL 51 PV
Xen RHEL 48 PV
ESX RHEL 54 FV

[PATCH 1/9] Convert config file to XML, and translate networks/bridge for all connections
Previously, only the LibVirtXML connection translated network and bridge names
in imported metadata. This change moves this functionality in Converter, making
it available to LibVirt connections as well.
At the same time, the format of the config file is switched to XML. The primary
driver for this is that the allowable syntax of a foreign network/bridge name is
not known. Rather than create a

How to verify ecc for ram is active and enabled?
Is there a method to view the status of the rams ecc single or double bit errors? I would like to confirm that ecc on my xeon e5520 and ecc ram are performing their role since memtest is ambiguous.
I am running memory test on a p6t6 ws, e5520 xeon, 2gb samsung ecc modules and this is what is on the screen:
Chipset: Core IMC (ECC : Detect / Correct)
However, further down "ECC" is
