OT: Bittorrent clients
Hi all,
Just switched my home computer from Windows 7 to CentOS 6.6 and I'm having a slight bit of trouble with the bittorrent-clients.
* Transmission is fine but lacks "a bit" in features.
* Vuze is my preferred bt-client but gives me horrendous gfx-artifacts, like not showing the torrent name (it's white text on a white background or some such...).
* Deluge is better, and

Just a thought, all this "swen" stuff, this list
It seems anyone posting to this list gets a deluge (and I mean a
deluge) of virus infected windows garbage. It's basically enough to
ruin any email address you sign up to the list with; it doesn't matter
if you have a virus scanner integrated with your MTA, I really don't
want to see 200 virus notifications a day because i posted to this
list. I have been getting about 20MB of swen a

Possible Filesystem Corruption with Samba 3.0.25a (with XFS and LVM)
Hello!
A few days ago I received a filesystem memory corruption notification
from Debian's Linux kernel (2.6.20), which automatically unmounted my
root partition. Upon closer investigation, I found that something had
overwritten most of my data, XFS's superblocks and other metadata
structures. That means from partition offset 0x200. At the time of the
error, the only services I was using

Sorin,
I recommend you stick to Transmission since it's in Base.
I have however issued updated packages for Deluge in my nux-dextop repo if it helps you.
Also check rtorrent out.

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
I'm new to Dovecot and will be using it with Postfix. I'm looking for
recommendations regarding the use of Dovecot's LDA or LMTP for virtual
mailbox delivery.
Many of the simple examples on the wiki use LDA. So I've set that up
initially. But apparently an advantage of LMTP is recipient verification.
So, as I understand it, LMTP would let Postfix know whether or not the

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
Thanks Jan.
I've been trying to obtain an English copy of the Dovecot book for months,
prior to starting this project. So far, I just can't find a copy. It's too
bad that the author/publisher won't do a second printing or, if they're not
interested in making any more money, then release it to the public domain as
a PDF. Very frustrating.

Just wondering to myself:
What made you switch from Windows 7 to CentOS 6.6?

[LLVMdev] 2.2 garbage collector questions
...prove at a tremendous rate (IMHO). I'm just sorry that I haven't been able
to devote more of my own time to this...
There is also the question of when the LLVM maintainers should start kicking
stuff out of the LLVM repository. As soon as we get working examples I'm sure
they will be deluged with mini Lisp/Haskell/CAML etc. implementations, most
of which will snowball beyond minimal working examples and no longer belong
in LLVM itself.

For the record and the benefit of anyone reading the list archives,
Transmission appears to be in EPEL, not Base.

o2fsck_mark_cluster_allocated: Internal logic faliure !! duplicate cluster
Help!
I have 10 nodes:
Ocfs2 1.2.4
RHEL4 U4 (AMD64)
Kernel 2.6.9-42.ELsmp
While running fsck.ocfs2 I am getting a lot of these.

Then I get a deluge of "Bad magic number in inode while trying to verify
the type of directory entry <filename>"

SELinux is preventing /bin/ps from search access
...SELinux messages.
run sealert -l b321ab2d-0277-45c9-bc86-545f9ff6ff91
You can see how many of them there are from the timestamps.
Googling, I've seen other folks complain months ago, but no answers.
Anyone have a clue? (And yes, I've posted this to the selinux list, also.
I'm getting deluged in the logs, and would very, very much like to solve
this today.)
If selinux wasn't in permissive mode, something(s) would be dead.

[LLVMdev] 2.2 garbage collector questions

Hello,
if anybody has time, I would recommend putting a big disclaimer at the top of
the garbage collection page that explains that, for the most part, garbage
collection falls outside of LLVM's domain.
Right now LLVM advertises itself as "supporting garbage collecting", which

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
Thanks again Jan.
I appear to have basic LMTP working now (messages are delivered to virtual
mailboxes of valid recipients and non-existent recipients are rejected).
Cool. Still lots more work to do.
But I think I could really use the Dovecot book. I find the wiki to be
lacking in explanation. So, too often I'm just copying without knowing the
reason why or how some things fit together.

I just downloaded R-devel and when loaded it immediately segfaults. I'm not
sure how much or what sort of diagnostic info and can provide, but below is
my build script, my console output, and the output of uname -r. I am
currently dependent on the development version of a package, so I'd like to
get R-devel up and running if possible. I am sure there is more info I can
provide, but before

Routing/NAT question
Hi all,
I have a strange setup I am trying to get working. Initally I thought
I could set it up by just setting up the correct routes. However after
thinking about it I have convinced myself (maybe incorrectly) that I
most likely need some sort of advanced NAT/routing setup.
Below is a description of the networks involved:

[LLVMdev] New, incremental, approach to release notes
Hi All,
Producing release notes at the end of the release is a becoming more of a problem as the project grows. I've been doing this by going through all of the LLVM commits since the last release and pulling out things that I find interesting and potentially impactful to people. However, as the project grows and there are more commits, this has been becoming less and less practical.

Postfix and Dovecot LDA vs. LMTP
The most crucial difference is that LDA is intended for delivering email to a *real* user.
