Getting multiple tables when using table(dataframe) to tabulate data
I am having hard time tabulating data in a dataframe, and getting a single "table" for an answer. I am trying to tabulate all "counts" for given "status" on a given date. I have a data frame such as: delta_ts status count 1 2008-02-27 CLOSED 3 2 2008-02-27 NEW 56 3 2008-02-27 RESOLVED 5 4 2008-02-21 ASSIGNED 1 5 2008-02-21 ASSIGNED 1 6 2008-02-21 NEW 2 7 2008-02-21 RESOLVED 0 8 2008-02-22 ASSIGNED 0 9 2008-02-22 CLOSED 0 10 2008-02-...

I have developed the state space model but I don’t know the correct way use Kalman filter for parameter estimation. Has anybody experience in work with Kalman filter in R. [PATCH] dib: rework run of extra-data.d hooks (RHBZ#1362354)
Instead of running them before lanching the appliance with the disks and then uploading the result after root.d hooks run, mount the root in the local temporary directory using FUSE and then run the hooks on the guest. Other than being closer to what diskimage-builder does, it also avoids issues with the extra-data.d scripts assuming to find things already, and we don't error out while trying

Help on time series & Hurst exponent
Hello, I'm an absolute beginner with R. I'm hoping to do some time-series analysis on my data. The data looks like #time value 18 153 20 426 70 7 83 130 84 7 and so on where time could be in seconds or hours or days (not all at the same time). How could I import such a file to R and do some simple stuff (say plot the values)? As per the tutorials on time series, I could use the ts()

numeric derivation
Hello, I don't understand the description / help-text for the numericDeriv() function. Why is there a new environment used? And what is meant with an environment here? Is it similar or the same as a local workspace, like an environment in functional languages? And why is it needed here? numericDeriv could just calculate the difference bewtween two values and divide this difference by the

Copying ncdf dims and vars from one file to the other
Hi, all I have a large number of NetCDF files that I need to average and then put the mean in a new NetCDF file. My problem is that I do this every time for files with different variables, so I do not want to hard-code the variables in the new NetCDF file I creat. does anyone know how I can copy ALL the dimensions and variables from one NetCDF file to another, and just put the mean I calculated as

[PATCH v3] RFC: New virt-dib tool
virt-dib is a new tool to run the elements of diskimage-builder using libguestfs. --- More or less stable now, although with debug stuff here and there; needs initial review, for being included. I would like to have it reviewed at this point, so it can be broadly used. TODO items open: - improve the documentation - review - getting more testing (although it has been successfully tested for

[PATCH 3/3] dib: rename "aux" to "in_target.aux"
Sadly, there are elements (hello "gentoo"!) that, during the cleanup.d phase, wipe out almost everything in the /tmp of the guest, including the /tmp/aux where virt-dib mounts the auxiliary data. Since that removal excludes things starting with "in_target" (mostly to avoid wiping the "in_target.d" that disk-image-create itself sets up, then rename our "aux"

[PATCH 5/5] mllib: add a new run_command helper
Add a simple helper to run a command from a sequence of arguments, without using a shell: this should help reducing the amount of quoting ineeded, since arguments are passed straight as such. Make use of it in the places currently using shell_command, and which don't assume they can run anything (so no shell redirections, `env`, etc). --- builder/builder.ml | 62

4. Rexcel (Luis Felipe Parra)-how to run a code from excel
Hi Louis, It's simple to run a r script from the excel spreadsheet. Just write your code, source("C:\\Quantil Aplicativos\\Genercauca\\BackwardSelectionNC.r"), into a cell of a workingsheet. Then right-click the cell and select "run code" in the pop-up menu. Hope this will help you. Best, Bernard -----????----- ???: r-help-bounces at r-project.org [mailto:r-help-bounces
