xp clients can't auth after reboot without smb restart
I currently have several fresh installs of XP that will connect to shares,
but will not reconnect after a workstation reboot. These are workstations
that are not joined to the domain. Only accessing shares from a local
profile, but using the same user/pass to login as to connect to Samba. I
get various errors at that point.
Upon reboot, attempting to access the share generates:

windows 7 unable to join domain
Hi,
I'm currently running Samba3x-3.3.8-0.51 on CentOS 5.5. I currently have
many Windows XP clients associated with the domain and behaving correctly.
However, I am unable to join a Windows 7 PC. I receive "The specified
network name is no longer available."
I've verified that DNS is configured correctly, and as stated XP machines
have no problem joining.

group permissions not setting correctly.
On Samba 3.5.4, I have a share that should be writable by all in the Domain
Users group. When I write to the share, the permission mode is correct but
the data doesn't have the correct group and instead lists the username as
the group. I tried using "force group" but the share stopped being
accessible after a restart so I removed it. It doesn't seem like this is
standard
