Multiple domain and trust relationship
Hello guys,
i use Samba 4 AD (4.2.1) for a small company.
I use a domain which is a subdomain of our internal DNS domain (
directory.mydomain.io)
Now my company will open several sites in different countries.
I was wondering what is the actual limitations of Samba4 concerning the
multi domain (i'm not a Windows guy and have very limited knowledge about
AD).
I read about trust relationship

...ba regarding this feature, except
there is much more limitations.
Lot of companies are using one AD domain on multi-sites, so to answer you
shortly: you can have one domain for multiple sites. Is it what you need? I
can't tell, you only can.
Cheers,

Azure AD sync + Samba4 DC
Hello esteemed members of the list,
i have a Samba 4.3.0 AD domain and want to synchronize accounts and
password from my on premise AD to an Azure AD using Azure AD sync on a
member server.
Unfortunately accounts and groups are migrated correctly but not passwords.
Did anyone ever managed to sync passwords from a Samba AD to an Azure AD?
Thanks.

Best practices: client/server VS Git
Hello there,
i'm actually learning Puppet in order to pass the exam.
I have no professional experience on the product yet, and wanting some
feedback from you professional devops.
For the moment i see 2 ways for Puppet to synchronize nodes:
-Puppet client/server way with a puppetmaster node
-Decentralized way, with node pull their configuration from a Git repo and
make a puppet apply on their
