Domain Admins
...I get the following:
Domain Admins (S-1-5-21-186220259-3826000728-3192352269-7033) -> domainadm
But when I go to log in to the domain with "user1" on a winxp machine,
the user isn't able to make administrative changes to the computer.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?

"Segmentation Fault" when attempting to join AD
...owing:
"net ads join -U administrator"
after I type the password, I get this error:
"Segmentation fault"
I can successfully get a ticket from AD when invoking:
"kinit user"
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Winbind?

Is winbind necessary here?

Winbind for five minutes?
...ething weird is going on with Winbind or I'm probably missing something. It took me two weeks of reading documentation, google searches, and man pages to get this current configuration going and I'm about drained on this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
