using DRBD VBDs with Xen

Not totally new to Xen but still very green and meeting some problems.

One slight issue is that it doesn't work if "newdata" is omitted, but then you can easily get the gradient from fm$m$gradient()

ACL/Files permissions with Win access control list
...rol list on Windows machines. When I add a domain
group or a domain user to the user list of a local file, it is correctly
shown. But, when I close and reopen the window, the username
(SERVER\username) is no longer shown, but its SID.
I don't understand why.
Somebody have a clue ?

Using XEN 4.1 to run Windows 7 DOMU on SERVER1, replicated the HVM to SERVER2 using DRBD. Win7 DOMU doesn't boot in SERVER2 after replication

Is Samba ready for it?
Hi,
I am migrating from WinNT 4 to Samba 3 beta3 in a production
environment.
It would be nice to have some advice, because I don't know if Samba is
ready for assuming this ;-)
I never heard about any one that had something like this.
This is kind of a big network so it will be 1 PDC (Samba) , 4 BDC's
(Samba) and 2 File Servers (w2k). I will have a minimum of 800 machines
and 2000 users

[PATCH] tdb multiple format

The patch is not functionnal. It is just a proposition and I will finish
it if you agree. It is designed for passdb.c RC4 and add 2 fields (bad
pwd count, lock out time) which are not implemented (into other files),
are just here as examples.

samba4 + drbd + ctdb + failover
Hi
We've got drbd going between 2 nodes:)
ATM there is un-partitioned space on each node but (we think) they are
syncing OK. It looks as though it has synced the whole partition (2GB)
from the primary node 1 to the other node:
