video conferencing bounty
http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20bounty%20Meet%20 Me%20video%20conferencing I posted this bounty for $US2,000 some months ago. Basically I needed the ability for 4 or 5 of us to conference on a weekly basis which is why I was happy to offer this bounty, however I have only had 2 people make brief inquiries and no one has really offered any substantial indication they

RODBC for 64-bit R with 32-bit Access
Hello Folks, I do hope this is the correct place to post (and not in R-SIG-DB). I have spent the better part of a day searching for an answer to this question, and have yet to resolve it. I am trying to query an .accdb Access database (with 32-bit Office 2007 currently residing on the machine) with 64-bit R via RODBC. There seem to be some conflicting accounts as to whether or not this is

skewness and kurtosis in e1071 correct?
I wonder whether the functions for skewness and kurtosis in the e1071 package are based on correct formulas. The functions in the package e1071 are: # -------------------------------------------- skewness <- function (x, na.rm = FALSE) { if (na.rm) x <- x[!is.na(x)] sum((x - mean(x))^3)/(length(x) * sd(x)^3) } # -------------------------------------------- and #

FLAC C API / Visual Studio 2008 FILE* Issue
Now that you mention it I remember many years ago having a compatibility issue with some app we'd written. As I recall we had to get our customers to install msvcr70.dll because none of their machines had it (this was in the days of NT4). That dll came with the version of Visual Studio we were using but of course none of our customers had Visual Studio installed! I guess Microsoft is off

business class sip provider with a SIP proxy server in India ?
I need SIP trunking from a high quality business service provider for 25,000 SIP minutes growing at approximately 10% each month. Currently we are using exgn.net to provide inbound 800 (Costs $200 for approx 10,000 minutes a month) and we are using broadvoice.com for outgoing calls (Costs $100 for approx 15,000 minutes a month. We have two unlimited business plans with them.) The reason I want

How to handle plugin dependency
...ble for use in a url (like com-ole) so I can have urls like /article/list/com-ole. The only snag I have hit is that when I add: has_permalink :name to the Tag class definition I get a "method missing" error. I was able to get it to work by adding: extend PermalinkFu to the Tag class defnition and also putting a copy of permalink_fu.rb in the acts_as_taggable/lib directory. Is there a better way to do this? I tried adding: require ''permalink_fu'' to tag.rb but this didn''t seem to help. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this...

Encoding vorbis with theora
Hey everyone; I'm able to encode and mix audio data (in wav format) into theora with vorbis - easy enough. However, my issues comes when I need that audio data to play at certain locations in the video time line. I'm encoding the video in a frame by frame basis and am also providing the frame rate by which the encoded frames are to be played. So, to me, it sounds like it shouldn't be

color specific(!) lines in different color with in parcoord plots
...Same with three or more colors; it just continously goes through the vector of colors, right? Acoordingly, my questions concerns on how the plot function uses col and if there is any way to "manipulate". I looked up the api of plot and matplot, but I was not able to find a general enough defnition or explanation of the option "col", sorry. I tested my setup thoroughly and uncovered a remaining handful of issues, though I don't think they are directly related to your commit. (Though, removing plugin_xmms from the default build was helpful.) With my changes in place, I am able to

reloading fragments of pages
Hello, I have a treeview, that works with scriptaculous in order to load the nodes dynamically. I also have in the main part of the page, a table with the list of elements. The lists of elements can be drag-dropped on the treeview in order to move them around (they are also draggable on other parts of the page) I need though, to refresh the treeview to reflect changes when a folder was moved

Querying against numeric fields? e.g. price:( >= min_price)
Using acts_as_ferret I''m trying to do a query like: active:(true) title|body:(#{params[:s]}) product_price:( >= #{params[:min]}) Where I want to return only the active products that contain the search term in the title or body and has a minimum price >= params[:min] I''m finding that even though I''m indexing the product price as an integer (so no .00 to cause

Assert_select
Hi all This is my first post here. I ave been using Rails for a couple of months, and am starting to put together a test suite. But I''m having a problem with assert_select in my functional tests. According to the documentation, it should be fine with two arguments - a CSS selector and a string to test it against. But no matter what I do I keep getting the exception: wrong number of

Error while trying to manage file share
I checked my entire setup again and again. Now I can see the my share. The most relevant change I did (afaik - ofcourse): - since I am using ad backend I created dedicated unix admin groups (as recommended in the docs) - I removed the $ from the share section/defnition ([projects$] -> [projects]) - I changed browseable switch from 'no' to 'yes' Iam still getting the "event viewer cannot connect..." Error. Probably this natural, because it is a linux host. Am Mi., 27. Nov. 2019 um 13:31 Uhr schrieb Marian Thieme < marian.thieme at...

Interrupt levels
I''m tracking performance on the machine I installed yesterday. mutt running on one Xen instance, accessing via imap to another instance, accessing via nfs the maildir in another instances, seems little laggy when moving up and down the message index list. Network latency seems low < 30ms on average. So I was tracking vmstat. On the mutt instances is seems reasonable: [nic@shell:~]
