works with webrick,lighty, not mongrel
...unning into an odd problem and am not sure where to investigate for the answer. When I run using mongrel_rails start most things work fine, but a I get a few inexplicable undefined method errors, for example: undefined method `send_qbxml'' for #<Sync:0x2aaaafa7aa78> The method is definitley there, and can be accessed from console. Further, I tried running with webrick, and it worked as expected. I tried lightty and it worked. I am hoping to both get this working, and understand why such an error would occur. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a lot, Michael Fairchild -----...

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x608121a0 "x11drv_main.c: X11DRV_CritSection" wait timed out in thread 000c, blocked by 000b, retrying (60 sec)
This is completely inexplicable to me. I has been using Wine for some time, but then I rebooted into Windows for approximately 2 weeks. At this point I decided to give Fedora another try. However, Wine is being completely retarded! Essentially, any executable that I run (ones that DEFINITLEY worked before) only shows part of the GUI, or none of it. Even winecfg is being retarded. I get windows that are "transparent with not content - they are just showing my KDE Desktop background pic and the icons. I get this error: err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x608121a0 "...

Starting the gotour server on CentOS 6
...developers, intended to teach users the basics of using the Go programming langauge. When starting gotour, the program claims to be binding to port 12049, but the VM doesn't seem to be serving anything on that port. Upon checking the netstat output, I see a process bound to port 12049. It is definitley possible that the problem is with Go itself, but I'd like to rule out the possibility that something on an out-of-the-box CentOS 6 image might be preventing the server from working. Here is some of the output: [appengine at centos6-paas-dev gotour]$ gotour 2014/04/17 22:04:33 Serving content...

Nested partials losing the view context ?
Hi all ! I can''t seem to make a simple thing work... The code is here: http://pastie.caboo.se/130660 Essentially, that''s a form with a couple of partials. The backtrace is included in the pastie. It looks like the context for the current view is lost when a partial is rendered. In _series.html.erb:2, I use "series" to get the name. This is the parameter I

z-index and dragging
Hey Guys, I''m having trouble with getting my draggables to go over the top of other items on my page. For instance, if I drag an icon from ''lower'' in the page to a ''higher'' point then it slides underneath it visually. I have set the z-index to a very high number and that doesn''t seem to have any effect. Are there other things I need to

Error 22 on domU creation after installing 3.1 from source
...compiled an installed the Xen Hypervisor, Tools and a new Kernel from the 3.1 source. The dom0 is running without problem and the xm seems to work fine, too (tried xm info, xm list, xm dmesg). Unforunately on creation of a domU I always get an error using a config file and a domU image that is definitley working (at least with 3.0.4): Using config file "/etc/xen/domU1.cfg". IMHO Samba wiki could be a great source of info for both new and advanced users. Why should Samba wiki turn into something bad, if lots of other open source projects have wikis too, and they are useful? -- Tomek http://wpkg.org WPKG - software deploym...

Different average bitrates on different machines
I am using OggEnc v0.8 (libvorbis rc2) (win32 cli) I have access to two machines Pentium 3 450mhz, 192mb, Windows 2000 (SP2) Athlon 1400mhz, 256mb, Windows 2000 (SP2) When I encode the same wave file on each machine at the same nominal bitrate (96kbps), I get output files with different average bitrates. 107kbps on the Athlon, as opposed to 84kbps on the Pentium 3. Application Design
Hey, I have a system that I am trying to design, it contains news articles, events, etc... There is model representing articles, one representing events, etc... Articles or events can be active or inactive, so I can do a query to return all active articles, all articles or all inactive articles. The question that I have is what would be the best way to design this. Right now I have each

SAMBA/PDC + LDAP HELP please?
Hi, I have been trying to work this out on my own now for about a week and feel like I am so close..haha. I have samba setup as a PDC and in theory authenticating users through openLDAP with the use of smbldap-tools by IDEALX. I have checked the windows registry fix, but still no luck. When I try to join the domain as root, I get the error: "Username could not be found" Any help would
