Can't join machines to a Samba PDC using LDAP
I've been trying to do this for days, and I think I'm really close. It's become one of those so-close-yet-so-far sorts of things. I'm running Gentoo -- all sync'ed up and current as of a week ago -- with the following package versions: openldap-2.1.30-r5 pam_ldap-178-r1 nss_ldap-239-r1 smbldap-tools-0.9.1-r1 phpldapadmin-0.9.5 (very cool, I must say!) samba-3.0.14a-r2

The new Linux IGD support
Hello Tom, I tried the new UPnP support of shorewall, olny to stumble upon a LinuxIGD bug. Specificaly, the UPnP chain is read as UPn from the upnpd.conf . I double checked it, there some bug in the upnpd, it doesn''t process 4 lettered names correctly. Could you change this chains'' name to something a little longer? -- Costas Cavouracis <cca@freemail.gr> My PGP keys:

can't load x100p card
Ok, I have 2 PC's that are identical. I loaded Redhat9 on the first and Asterisk and installed a x100p card and it works fine. I ghost the first PC and install the ghost on the second PC. Everything comes up on the 2nd PC but I can't get it's x100p card to load. The systems sees the card, it's on interrupt 11. It shows up in /proc/pci and /etc/sysconfig/hwconf and lspci shows it

Dovecot configure script for 1.0b8 not including SQL drivers?
...I have specified --with-sql and --with-pgsql but when the script is done it says "Building with SQL drivers ..............:" but lists no drivers afterwards. I tried compiling it anyway but it logs the error " auth(default): Unknown database driver 'pgsql' " so the it defiantly didn't get compiled in. My pgsql includes and libs are in a non standard location but I specified that in the CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS before the ./configure invocation. What have I done wrong here, or is there a bug in the script? The whole invocation is: CPPFLAGS='-I/usr/local/openssl-0.9....

[LLVMdev] Recent Commits by Tim Northover
Today I updated to trunk the toolchain for my work developing on Cortex-M4F. I was super excited to see three commits by Tim Northover that actually attempt to improve the machine code generation for my target, or any ARM target for that matter (as opposed to other important work on compiler correctness or architectural elegance or formatting comment white-space, I mean). Is he alone or are

syntax II
Hi Given the warm response to the syntax additions in 1.9.1 I''m considering moving one or two more syntax extensions into core, and would like your thoughts. Last ones, I promise. Realise we don''t want much more API change now, but also we''ll probably also have to live with whatever we settle on for 2.0 for a little while, so... 1) Setting up event handlers In

Thunderbird bug, anyone else have seen it?
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541130 The bug I see is using thunderbird 24.6 which is the latest update on centos 6.5. The issue is that every time I open an email with some "+" somewhere in the source (which I didn't traced yet) I get annoying message: An error occurred while loading or saving configuration information for thunderbird. cross compling openssh-3.5p1 for ppc
Greetings: ------------ BACKGROUND -------------------------- I am using the Monta Vista development kit on an Intel RedHat Linux platform... the target is PPC_405. The configure utility that comes with the openssh-3.5p1 code will not support cross compilation. It gives an error message about not being able to test its results and then exits before it creates a Makefile. To get around this

Shoehorning speex is confusing a newbie
...ed to include that config file. I do have a heap for the setup of the state structure for encode and decode and yes I made sure it was big enough to allocate enough to both. Yes I destroy the structures after I am done en/decoding them. If there is anything you need to help you help me then I am defiantly willing to share. I am thoroughly confused and could use some help. Thanks. -Mike Jacobson michael.jacobson@ultratec.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... SER is a better NAT solution?
Hi, I'm now setting up a VoIP conference room using Asterisk. All the clients are SIP phone (to be exact, Xlite), number of clients that should be registered are around 50 and concurrent users are maybe 15 clients at most. So, basically I think I can handle the situation only with Asterisk. I'm wondering however, most of my clients are behind NAT of home router and using SER together

Asttapi - what's wrong?
When I try to call from asttapi one number, I get message "No one is available to answer at this time (1:0/0/0)". Immediately after that I try to call the same number from SIP phone (the same one that is used with asttapi) and call goes true. What have I done wrong? This is how it looks on CLI. **** == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/manager.conf': Found == Manager 'tomo'

WindowsXP Slow to display Sub Dir and file tree's
...reeBSD & samba, these then push files to the NT Machine for nightly backup, one at a time through perl script. I have also configured a samba server to run WINS and DHCP only, for the network. All clients machines are configured to point to this machine for those protocols, and they have "defiantly" been disabled on the NT Server. On Windows 95' 98' 2000 machines browsing on the samba servers sub dir's on shares is almost instant, root files in that share and all sub dir's appear in Windows Explorer within less than a second. Even large tree's with say over 1000 sub...

ActiveRecord::StatementInvalid in Admin#list
I am having a problem. I am trying to work through the PDF of Dave Thomas''s book, but I keep getting this error after developing for five to ten minutes: WARNING: You have a nil object when you probably didn''t expect it! Odds are you want an instance of Array instead. Look in the callstack to see where you''re working with an object that could be nil. Investigate
