OT: ProFTPD web browser login
I'm setting up a ftp server. I need to be able to have people have a non interactive login through a web browser into a chrooted directory i.e. ftp://somewhere.com. I also need to have a URL that will auto login a user to a chrooted directory. These chrooted directories will be RO for all anonymous access. That said I also need to have a staff account that has upload rights to these

Patton SmartNode Help
I have been given a Patton SmartNode 4114 and asked to get it working as POPS gateway for our asterisk box. The 4114 has 4 FXO ports. It's got firmware 3.21 on it. I currently have a single POPS line plugged into port 0. I can not seem to get the two to talk together. I am running asterisk 1.2.21.1. I am seeing the following repeatedly in * Jan 24 16:23:40 NOTICE[17063]: chan_sip.c:11291

SSOAP fails with .types[[1]] : subscript out of bounds
Hi, I am trying to create a BioMoby client in R using SSOAP. BioMoby is a normal SOAP web service, with request and response messages wrapped in BioMoby XML dialect. Since the particular WSDL I am having problems with is autogenerated and used similarly by *many* services, it would be quite important to a) fix SSOAP or b) fix the WSDL generator. I am a bit lost how to continue debugging

SSOAP Parameter Structures: Nested Arrays
Dear list, I've been using R for a while, but am new to web services. I'm a relatively novice programmer; advance apologies for incorrect terminology. I'm trying to send queries and get results back from a SOAP server, using the SSOAP package. My code contains sensitive API keys and URLs, and unfortunately I'm unable to share it uncensored. I have not been able to reproduce the

Asterisk and Patton
Hi, we have and Asterisk server connected to a Patton Smartnode 4638 with 4 BRI. We configured 4 SIP account on Patton (1001, 1002, 1003, 1004). The system is fully functional, but we have a problem to recognize incoming calls from Asterisk: when a call come from SIP/1001 (BRI 1 on Patton) or SIP/1002 (BRI 2) or SIP/1003 (BRI 3) Asterisk record a call coming from SIP/1004. I have contacted Patton

OT Proftpd stopped authenication for users
For some reason proftpd stopped authentication for users. Anonymous access still works but when someone tries to access the server via their login it no longer authenticates them. I recently ran yum where proftpd was updated (that said, I'm not sure that caused the problem). I uninstalled the new version and and installed a prior version with no change. Below is a look at my config, a

cant login remotely proftpd
Hello list! Well I have delved back into my proftpd config in the hopes of resolving my issues and having a working server. :) I believe I have the passive mode issue that I was expereriencing last time mostly worked out. But there are still a couple of things going on with this config that I was hoping to run by you in hopes of finding a solution. If I execute an ftp session on localhost

mysql authentication in proftpd
Hello list, I was able to get passive mode worked out. I'm really glad I was able to do this. I'm able to log into the ftp server, list directories, enter subdirectories and upload/download files. However my next task is to enable virtual users using mysql. I have installed proftpd-mysql and enabled the sql modules in the config. I found a good article on how to do this here:
