sftp-server with defaultroot
Hello,
I searched a while to find out, if there is an sftp-server
implementation which provides an option similar to the defaultroot of
proftpd.
A typical use would be:
DefaultRoot = ~
The option does the follwing:
Once the use logs in, it determines the home directory of the user .ie
/home/u1234 and takes this as the users root. The user cannot escape
that root (he can not look at /tmp for example). Each file within his...

/var/www in the /etc/passwd file but I would rather it just be for FTP and
leave the login home as /home/webadmin. In ProFTP this was set in
/etc/proftpd.conf like so:
DefaultRoot / webadmin
DefaultChdir /var/www webadmin
Does anyone know how I can do that? I would like the settings for the other
users to work as they are now. I have been looking at chroot_list_enable,
and chroot_list_file files but I don't think that is quite what I am looking
for (They are both co...

This is what my proftpd config is looking like at the moment.

And I give access to this directory with this directive:

I plan to tighten up the security a little bit as I make some more progress. B...

FTP accounts
Hello,
I have setup a centos server running 5.5 and I have a problem with the FTP
settings.
Currently I have two FTP accounts based on that server, they lead to:
/home/bella
/home/carmen
Currently the FPT accounts starts in the home directory when they are logged
in. But they are able to see all directories on the server. What can I do to
make sure they cant come out of there home directory?

rpmbuild question.
I am attempting to build from a src.rpm (knowing very little about
rpm at all) and the spec file notes that the architecture should be
set on the command line:
> # platform defines - set one below or define the build_xxx on the
command line
Now. My question is this, how does one do this using rpmbuild?
The syntax rpmbuild --target centos4 package.src.rpm seemingly has
no effect.
