Lattice graphics strip labels for shingles
Dear all,

with an answer from Deepyan Sarkar (see strip.new towards the end of this
message). I assume that the answer worked back then, but I've tried to
implement it today, with little success. I think that it may have to do
with namespaces - but I'm not sure.
Here is the code I used after creating the strip.new function (...

using barchart in lattice package and conditioning
I have the data structure below and I'm attempting to send it into
barchart using the R code below it. I don't get an error but I don't get
any output either. Deepyan's new Lattice book is amazing and there are
some examples sort of similar to what i'm doing but I couldn't see a
way of using the formula interface to condition on what I wanted to
condition on so I decided to use split instead. I'm not sure if that's
where my problem lies...

lattice xscale.components: different ticks on top/bottom axis
Good afternoon,
I am trying to create a plot where the bottom and top axes have the same
scale but different tick marks. I tried user-defined xscale.component
function but it does not produce desired results. Can anybody suggest
where my use of xscale.component function is incorrect?
For example, the code below tries to create a plot where horizontal axes
limits are c(0,10), top axis has ticks
