why I use chrome on CentOS
I use chrome on CentOS because I wrote a web socket web app and I can only get chrome to work properly with web sockets.
I have a local web app created with erlang. It works like ms sccm to wake, freeze/thaw deepfreeze PCs and can update windows/mac/linux boxes when they need updates for some student computers labs and department/college class rooms.
Thanks for your understanding for my need for chrome - I moved over from xubuntu several months ago and I?d like to stay on CentOS.
Thanks,
-wes

Review for dummies
Ok. Not newbie, but feel like one.
Here's my question.
I am setting up a computer lab with series of W2k Pro workstations.
What is the best way to administer these with a Samba PDC?
I have NO NT servers, and really dont want one.
My main goals are:
a) easy administration
b) security so they cant crack
c) most reliable.
Can you tell me if winbind is what is needed?
Or would the best

Hi
I''m currently setting up a game server and have opened all ports needed to
run it.
What other options do I have regarding protecting the open ports?
I''m worried about people attacking the open ports to render the server useless.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thank you.
