Hi, Yes, that's what I would do. Hello, i have downloaded the kernel 2.4.14 and the correspondig ext3 patch ext3-2.4-0.9.15-2414.gz. After this i extract the archiv at /usr/src, renamed the dir linux to linux-2.4.14 and made a symlink linux-2.4.
