CentOS for commercial use

servers and (perhaps?) desktops as well. I've read at leat one comment
like "I have 20 CentOS servers."
My employer is a firm believer in RHEL - license costs are just a
business decision.
I would like to know how those of you who use CentOS in commercial
endeavors justify the decsion - ethics, community vs. vendor support,
etc., etc. I've heard many comments to the effect that we CentOS users
are just leaches, since RedHat does the major work.
What do you think?

Decision Tree and Random Forrest
Hi I'm trying to get the top decision rules from a decision tree.
Eventually I will like to do this with R and Random Forrest. There has to
be a way to output the decsion rules of each leaf node in an easily
readable way. I am looking at the randomforrest and rpart packages and I
dont see anything yet.

Decision Tree and Random Forrest

there is probability that play_golf is YES). I was thinking that random
forrest would weight the rules somehow on the collection of trees and give
a probability. But if that doesnt make sense, then can you just tell me
how to get the decsion rules with one tree and I will work from that.

qemu/kvm: support for pci passthrough
...ev, only a sys admin that need this support. As i saw
on the KVM home page that this feature is plan for 2H2008 in the
roadmap, I wondered if you already have a more precise time frame for
this release? Xen already have this feature but for the rest i prfer
KVM. As this is a key point for the final decsion (we have a Digium
TDM11B FXO/FXS pci card for an Asterisk VM), i'm waiting for an update
about this feature.

I think a patch to delay garbage collection and run it later is pretty
important for high performance web applications. I do understand the
trade-offs of having explicit vs. implicit garbage
