Source deconnection bug in icecast?
Hello,
Yesterday evening, I installed icecast kh13 with your latest libshout.
We have to wait 1, 2 or three days to see what is happening...
Yes, the samplerate 19404 is exactly what I asked ices to do... Just a compromise between bitrate and samplerate to have a better sound quality.
Regarding to that, I didn't found the option to set the ouput rate in ices kh47, and also I was wondering how

win95 deconnection
Hi, I'm using SAMBA (2.0.10 mandrake 7.2 rpm) in a
small network with 2 win95 clients. I succeed to share
files and printer.
But, sometimes (even when I try to log on the client
PCs) I can't connect to the samba server or I loose
the connection although I can ping my linux server and
access internet. (My linux server shares an ADSL line
too).
Is it a known problem with win95 ? Any ideas.

Yes, and I have set it to "always on" as opposed to "always off" or "last state".

I have no idea. How would I find out?

Smalls problems
Hello,
I install a server with Samba and the smb.conf in the enclosure. I've
got 50 users.
For one user, the home directory is not accessible !
For one computer (Win98), the command netuse Z: \\server\public doesn't
work (letter in use !)
Have you got any idea about this ?

does IceCast & listeners logging
Thanks for your answer Chris.
Nevertheless I just can't see the event you're talking about in my access.log file. I mean the time of the end of listening for each
user and the amount of bytes transfered !
Maybe because I'm just a beginner in IceCast... Could you give me an example of a log file (just a part) that shows this
notification ?
For example on my ShoutCast log tells me :

R for Windows server
Hi,
I need to run a burdensome simulation. I'm using a Dell PowerEdge 2850, 3.8 Ghz CPU, 2 Gb RAM, Windows server 2003, 32 bit. The task manager indicates that Rgui.exe is using 25% of the CPU speed. There is no other process that is slowing down R.
Does anyone know if it's a limitation of R? If so, can I set up the program for the CPU usage like I do for the memory usage? Is there a

Client frequent disconnection + strange logs
Hello,
Although I've been using samba for years at my customers
office, I recently moved one on a HP E60 server running
RedHat 6.2.
The samba version is 2.0.6, untouched from the distribution.
They use a (weird) accounting software built on the top of
FoxPro, requiring a *huge* amount of open files. I accordingly
raised the values for files-nr and inode-nr and the stats seem
ok.
They have

correlation and causality examples
Dear All,
I'am looking for examples showing that correlation does not imply
causality, the targeted audience consists of undergraduate students
(their first year at the university but in the BioMathStat track).
All practicals are under R.
I was able to extract this from R datasets:
