Source deconnection bug in icecast?
Hello, Yesterday evening, I installed icecast kh13 with your latest libshout. We have to wait 1, 2 or three days to see what is happening... Yes, the samplerate 19404 is exactly what I asked ices to do... Just a compromise between bitrate and samplerate to have a better sound quality. Regarding to that, I didn't found the option to set the ouput rate in ices kh47, and also I was wondering how

win95 deconnection
Hi, I'm using SAMBA (2.0.10 mandrake 7.2 rpm) in a small network with 2 win95 clients. I succeed to share files and printer. But, sometimes (even when I try to log on the client PCs) I can't connect to the samba server or I loose the connection although I can ping my linux server and access internet. (My linux server shares an ADSL line too). Is it a known problem with win95 ? Any ideas.

does IceCast & listeners logging
Thanks for your answer Chris. Nevertheless I just can't see the event you're talking about in my access.log file. I mean the time of the end of listening for each user and the amount of bytes transfered ! Maybe because I'm just a beginner in IceCast... Could you give me an example of a log file (just a part) that shows this notification ? For example on my ShoutCast log tells me :

R for Windows server
Hi, I need to run a burdensome simulation. I'm using a Dell PowerEdge 2850, 3.8 Ghz CPU, 2 Gb RAM, Windows server 2003, 32 bit. The task manager indicates that Rgui.exe is using 25% of the CPU speed. There is no other process that is slowing down R. Does anyone know if it's a limitation of R? If so, can I set up the program for the CPU usage like I do for the memory usage? Is there a

Client frequent disconnection + strange logs
...find at the same timestamp close requests, followed by two line of the form: [timestamp]lib/doscalls.c:dos_ChDir(336) dos_ChDir to /var/sauvegarde [timestamp]connexion closed for user compta and then a reconnection to the same user, at the same timestamp. I don't understand the reason of the deconnection, and the dos_ChDir call, as neitheir the client nor samba knows anything about the /var/sauvegarde directory, which I use to store backup locks. Beside this, at the very same time, I find in /var/message the line [timestamp]PAM_pwdb: (login) authentication failure; (uid 0) -> compta for sam...

correlation and causality examples
...ots), lab = pretty(spots)) legend(1870, 6000, col = c("red", "black"), c("spots", "lynx"), lty = 1) ### end So, I'am looking for similar examples, any hint would be greatly appreciated. Basically, I'am looking for correlations between completely deconnected phenomena so that the overinterpreted causality relationships look stupid at first glance (and the more funny the link, the better). BTW, does someone know where to find the data of this example of a high correlation between beer drinking in the US and children mortality in japan (or something l...
