...builder, installed all dependencies and startet the compilation of Xen. So now the problem is that the compilation hangs without any reason in the stubdom directory. So there is no error output or something like this, it simply hangs and don''t continue. As compiler I use GCC 4.6, with debhelper I created the Debian rules files and I used the dist target. Is this a known issue or is it a problem of my configuration? Would be greate to get help, Xen 4.2 is a real milestone and I can only say "Go on guys, good work". Best Regards P.S. ...ks like the rules file is installing files to both debian/tmp and debian/nut. This means the debian/nut directory is effectively ignored (the nut_2.3.0-*.i386.deb files come from debian/tmp instead). I am not sure of the best way to fix it, but it may involve changing the parameters to some of the debhelper scripts. There are also some warnings such as the following: "dh_installchangelogs: Compatibility levels before 4 are deprecated." ...vein, I have been using cdbs at work - it is actually fairly nice, for the common rule cases. There are some issues with overriding the default rules - basically, you can't, you just have to reimplement them - but I don't think that NUT will have much trouble with the defaults since it uses debhelper now. -- - Charles Lepple
