Aki, I have been able to reproduce the problem, and this time, with the
packages from Debian stable. So you were right, this had nothing to do
with master user, but virtual folders.
I can now send the full stack trace, and doveconf.

Erros in Samba 4 DC
Hi,
>Are you using Bind9, if so, post your named.conf files (the ones from
/etc/bind)
No, I'm using DNS Internal.
>Is winbind installed ?
No, because the Samba tutorial said that for DC it was not necessary.

Debugging Samba is a total PITA and this needs to improve
Once again, something with Samba thirty bazillion components broke. Once
again, my choices for logging are "nothing" or "15 MB/s spread of ten
different files, because 'client authentication failed' totally needs to
be lower priority than malloc debug info". Once again, none of these
messages is actually able to convey what broke, where, why. Why is it

Hai,
In addition to Rowlands question.
Can you run this script and post it to the list also.
It gives a complete overview of what your running.
Its basicly what Rowland asked, but with a few extra things.

And the output of:

XMPP notifications
Hello all,
What is the best way, using sieve, to send XMPP notifications?
I am using Debian Stretch, with Dovecot core / sieve packages version
2.2.27-3+deb9u2.
Should I use the enotify extension, or a script with extprograms
extension?
Thanks for your answers.

IMAP copy stopped copying flags
...ld version? What's your doveconf -n? How are you testing

It seems that the problem occurred after Debian/Testing dovecot's upgrade
from 1:2.2.36-1 to 1:2.3.2-2. I have fixed the problem by downgrading
dovecot to version provided by Debian/Stable (1:2.2.27-3+deb9u2).
I use dovecot in "server less" mode (IMAP via stdin+stdout) with maildir.

and passdb by LDAP, only to verify IMAP user password by bind.
Problem is, when someone sends email to non-existent at mydomain.tld,

Join new DC to domain - advice to upgrade Samba 4.
Hi Rowland, thanks for your email.
The working DC was installed around 2 years ago. It is the reason to stick
in Stretch. But if I can upgrade the working DC to Buster and Samba 4.9.5
without any problem, it is OK to me.
I'm not a Samba expert. How can I verify my database? Can you point me to
some link, tutorial, etc? I have used the samba-tool dbcheck (with and
without --cross-ncs), is

Any idea?
I'm using dovecot 2.2.27-3+deb9u2 from debian.
