hi, i upgraded my testsystem running on a Dell Optiplex 780 fine for the last five years from Debian 8 to Debian 9. It also crashes on boot, after complaining abount an errer for the mcelog (-16) mounting the root partition (/dev/md0) loading parport driver (?) afterwards my monitor is out of frequency was not able to run further tests right now. best regards Thomas --------------

Hello, I'm running Samba 4.9.5 as domain member, when I bring down the current Window DC (10.50.50.187) the winbind seems to hang instead of switching to the other available DC (10.50.50.25) The "net ads" command show that Samba switched to the other available DC: net ads join -U 'administrator' -S 'PAVONE.HYPERFILE.LOCAL' 'HYPERFILE.LOCAL'^C root at

I'm currently using the standard Samba 4.5.8 on Debian 9.1, but would like to have spotlight support for Mac users. As far as I can tell, the standard package isn't compiled with spotlight support, so I will need to compile it myself. Is there an easy way to know what the configure string was that was used to compile the packaged version? I simply want to add the --enable-spotlight flag
