Cisco 7920 Image
Does anyone know if there is a Smartnet contract or whatnot available from Cisco for access to the latest 7920 images? I've got one w/ asterisk that is exhibiting a few of the documented bugs running 1.0.3 (1.0.7 is the latest IIRC). Thanks! -- /* Ian A. Regardless of the xsl files. Can't we communicate with the icecast server directly to retrieve the information ?? On Mon, 14 Feb 2005 12:58:56 -0500, Ian A. Mono encoding w/ a stereo source.
Crew, I've run into something a little odd with the vorbis encoder and would like some input. I use SpacialAudio's SAM3 Broadcaster and am having problems with the ogg encoder when I create a mono output stream. It seems as if the signal level of the left and right sides are being combined before the encoding process, leaving the sound muddy and overdriven. As such, if I reduce

Help with streaming audio...
I recently installed Icecast2 on my XP Home Laptop. My goal is to get the audio from my vhf/uhf scanner, whose audio out is connected to the laptop's mic port, out as a stream so I can listen to it when away from home (like from work). I can hear the scanner fine through the laptop's speakers, but although I've read the documentation for the Icecast2 server configuration, I'm

A thought on the logging...
Crew, I've got a logging question. I've searched high and low, and I can't figure out what the last field in the logfile is. What does that last number mean? Additionally, ogg stresms in reality are VBR...so I can't really use bytes transferred to determine the length of time a listener had been connected. Would it be feasible to make the log format customizable,

Stream drops during handoff. Suggestions?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've searched high and low for the last couple days for an answer. An Internet radio station I DJ for is using Shoutcast and MP3, but we are considering moving to an Icecast/Ogg Vorbis combination instead. We work in 3-hour shifts. When we hand off, the DJ on-stream stops teh encoder, shouts "go" on IRC, and the DJ in line starts his
