Favorite print command for SAMBA on Sol 2.5.1
...e all Solaris 2.X and they use the printools GUI to send jobs to
his printer server. His printer server is a Sol2.5.1 (like mine), with HP
Jetdirect D.04.12 (like mine), and JetDirect Cards use the same fimeware
version (like mine).
Sun Support is looking into his problem, but they are stumped.

Getting a list of Printer jobs from Solaris
I have samba 2.02 running on Solaris 2.5.1.
I am trying to get a list of jobs to show up in a Win95 clients Printers
Status box. It always shows empty even though there are lots of jobs in the
queue.
I have tried a number of different lpq and lpstat commands, but the
printer status still shows 0 jobs.
Is there a trick?
