Error running samba-tool dbtool --reset-well-known-acls
Hi, I updated my two samba DC's from 4.0.3 to serner 4.0.7. Both servers run debian wheezy and the add was created at the beginning of the year with an classic upgrade to version 4.0.0. Recent release notes do not provide information about required upgrade tasks. So i ran. samba-tool dbcheck --reset-well-known-acls. On the first DC it found a few errors about missong members in computer

Hi All, On my two-DC setup (dc00 and dc01 - Used to be a 4-Dc setup but 02 and 03 are gone), I've noticed the following errors which I am unable to fix.. Any hints? * Basic dbcheck is clean. [root at dc00 ~]# samba-tool dbcheck Checking 327 objects Checked 327 objects (0 errors) * Cross-NCS shows two errors related to a de-comissionned DC (dc02) and cannot auto-fix this.. How do I fix

ms access --> mysql --> R in Linux
I am trying to use some ms access databases in R (version 1.9.1 or 2.0 on a Debian system). In searching the net for promising software to do this, I found mdbtools. Mdbtools claims the ability to convert schemas and tables in MS Access to MySQL and other databases. http://mdbtools.sourceforge.net/ I'm wondering if anyone in the R community has tried using this software to use MS-Access databases in R with a Linux system. If so, Were you successful?...

Only * can't write into the table. So,cecking the conf file and the username, password and domain are ok. Need to configure other modules?or the information passed by si...

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
...other hand you are developing higher level constructs like a symbolic dispatch facility for dynamic languages, you could as well put the information in C-like data structures. Even *if* you want to add raw bytecode into the modules, which I think is better to associate more externally like the gcj-dbtool is doing it, you just need some kind of blob, but not really annotions. Btw: I am very interested in the dynamic languages project you are mentioning. Do you have any dynamic language frontends in use. The PyPy project I think is targeting LLVM too. I could imagine that this meta information is ju...

[LLVMdev] Re: gcc like attributes and annotations
This is a interesting thread. I think this would also help with compiling scripting languages such as JavaScript/Python etc. We could keep the high level meta data and runtime binding info as language specific bytecode in the file and just have the parts that are easy to represent as compileable in the main object sections. There is no intrinsic reason for all the runtime type information to get

How to install programs in wine?
I am a rank newbie to Linux and wine. I am running Ubuntu Dapper on an AMD 1800 mhz machine, wine 0.9.15 Everything I have read says use the installer to load windows programs. Where is the installer? Thanks, -- Ron Thompson On the Beautiful Florida Space Coast, right beside the Kennedy Space Center, USA http://www.plansandprojects.com My hobby pages are here:
