O2CB global heartbeat - hopefully final drop!
All, This is hopefully the final drop of the patches for adding global heartbeat to the o2cb stack. The diff from the previous set is here: http://oss.oracle.com/~smushran/global-hb-diff-2010-10-07 Implemented most of the suggestions provided by Joel and Wengang. The most important one was to activate the feature only at the end, Also, got mostly a clean run with checkpatch.pl. Sunil

Matches estimate varies with sorting method
Hi all, I found that the figure returned by MSet::get_matches_estimated() varies depending on how results are to be sorted. For instance, in my index, value 4 contains date and time in the format "yyyymmddhhmmss". For the same query, the number of results will be estimated to 20000+ when results are first sorted by date and time with set_sort_by_value_then_relevance(4) and to only 100

Deterioration with zfs performace and recent zfs bits?
Has anyone else noticed a significant zfs performance deterioration when running recent opensolaris bits? My 32-bit / 768 MB Toshiba Tecra S1 notebook was able to do a full opensolaris release build in ~ 4 hours 45 minutes (gcc shadow compilation disabled; using an lzjb compressed zpool / zfs on a single notebook hdd p-ata drive). After upgrading to 2007-05-25 opensolaris release bits

[RFT 00/13] iomap: Constify ioreadX() iomem argument
Hi, The ioread8/16/32() and others have inconsistent interface among the architectures: some taking address as const, some not. It seems there is nothing really stopping all of them to take pointer to const. Patchset was really tested on all affected architectures. Build testing is in progress - I hope auto-builders will point any issues. Todo ==== Convert also string versions (ioread16_rep()
