Dovecot with Imp problems
...enu) but the emails don't show in my actual
inbox.
I thought this was an IMP problem, but then I downgraded to dovecot 99 series RPM and this resolved the problem.
I was seeing the following error in my logs, when I tried to log into a mailbox through IMP.
Jun 21 09:22:46 mail dovecot: IMAP(davew): file index-mail.c: line 105 (index_mail_get_fixed_field): assertion failed:
(buffer_get_used_size(buf) == data_size)
Jun 21 09:22:46 mail dovecot: child 6217 (imap) killed with signal 6
Thanks, I hope this helps.
Regards.

Samba4 as an additional Domain Controller in existing Windows 2016 AD
Good day guys,
I hope all is well on your side.
We are looking at implementing the latest stable version of Samba4 to function as a (secondary) domain controller in an existing Active Directory environment that is currently managed by an existing single Windows Server 2016 server.
Aside from fairly easily-addressed sysvol replication challenges - looking at the official Samba documentation,

Slow Access Database on Samba
Dear All,
We have an access database running on a Samba share (Samba version
3.0.10-1.4E) with a gigabit connection to the network. The front end of the
databases are on the client machines with linked tables stored in a separate
mdb file on the linux server.
For some reason the database runs very slowly when it is set up in this way.
I tested copying a 10 MB file onto the samba share and it
